Details of the University of Bristol Think Big Scholarships

The Think Big Scholarships are open to international students worldwide.

Applicants interested in pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the UK are encouraged to apply. No application fee is required.

Additionally, awardees may receive a one-time living cost bursary of up to £3,000 during their first year. This bursary is paid directly into the student’s UK bank account during their first term upon registration.

Eligibility Requirements

For Undergraduate Degrees

To be eligible:

1. Applicants must be classified as overseas fee payers.
2. Applicants must have applied for a full-time eligible undergraduate course at the University of Bristol starting in September 2025.
3. Eligible courses exclude Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science.
4. Scholarship applications can be submitted before receiving a formal offer to study but require at least an application to an eligible course.

For Master’s Degrees

To be eligible:

1. Applicants must be classified as overseas fee payers.
2. Applicants must have applied for an eligible full-time postgraduate course starting in September 2025.
3. Eligible programmes include any one-year taught Master’s programme or specific two-year taught programmes such as MA Law or MSc Social Work. Distance learning programmes are not eligible.
4. Applications can be submitted before receiving a formal offer to study, provided the applicant has applied to an eligible programme.
