Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Summary:
Selected candidates will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects by coordinating various administrative and operational tasks. This position involves working on site as well as working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
~ Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on the site.
~ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
~ Monitor and enforce quality control standards.
~ Lead and motivate construction teams, including laborers, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
~ Provide clear direction and support to team members.
~ Organize and maintain project files, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
~ Facilitate communication between project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
~ Distribute project-related information to relevant parties and ensure timely updates.
~ Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules.
~ Coordinate with subcontractors to align their activities with the overall project timeline.
~ Work with project managers to allocate resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials.
~ Monitor resource availability and report any potential issues.
~ Assist in the documentation of quality assurance processes and results.
~ Assist in obtaining necessary wort permits and approvals for construction activities.
~ Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
~ Organize and schedule project meetings, including team meetings, progress reviews, and client meetings.
~ Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
~ Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
~ Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to the project manager and other relevant parties.
~ Identify and report issues or obstacles that may impact project progress.
~ Work collaboratively with the project team to develop and implement solutions.
~ Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including reports, drawings, and permits.
Qualifications:
~ Minimum of HND in Engineering, or a related field.
~ Previous experience in project coordination or a similar role in the construction industry.
~ Experience working in Exxon Mobil QIT is required.
~ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
~ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
