His main duties are:
- Review the relay protection co-ordination and selectivity studies of the substations / power plants of the facility and return remarks as necessary.
- Follow the vendor / OEM during the downloading of the relay settings of panels.
- Execute the pre-commissioning verification of the protection settings of all switchgear equipment as per the reference documents and contract requirements using FAT and SAT approach.
- Ensure the pre-commissioning reports are completed accurately, preparing the punch list where applicable.
- Experienced protection relay engineer, conversant with all Thytronic relays (XMR-P/V) and Schneider P543 Micom relays.
