NLNG Post-Primary Scholarships Award 2024/2025 for Nigerian Students

We are pleased to inform the general public that The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited has opened her application portal for applicants to apply for 2024 NLNG Post Primary Scholarship Program. Take your time to read through the application requirements and apply.

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) wants to help students with their education. They are offering scholarships for primary school pupils who are in Basic Five or Six for the 2024-2025 school year. This scholarship will help these students go to secondary school.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

You must be from one of the communities where NLNG operates in Rivers State.
You should be in Basic Six and attending a public primary school in Rivers State.
You cannot have another scholarship, bursary, or grant from any other organization.
You must be under 12 years old.
You cannot be related to a staff member of Nigeria LNG Limited, like their spouse, child, ward, or close relative.

Requirements for 2024 NLNG Post Primary Scholarship Program

You must be in Basic 6 at a public primary school in Rivers State.
You need to have a letter saying you are provisionally accepted to one of these schools:
- Hallel College (Boarding) Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt
- Archdeacon Brown Secondary School Woji, Port Harcourt
- Christie Toby Education Centre, Iriebe.
You must show your report cards for Basic 4, Basic 5, and Basic 6.
You must have a letter from your current school’s Headmaster or Headmistress. The letter must have their stamp and signature, and include their contact phone number.
You need a letter confirming you are from the area, signed by the CDC Chairman or Chief in your community.

To get this scholarship, students must:

Be from one of the communities where NLNG operates.
Be in Basic Five or Six.
Show their report card from Basic Five.
Get a letter from their school’s head teacher confirming their performance (the head teacher’s phone number must be on the letter).
Get a letter from their community’s CDC Chairman or Chief confirming they are from the community.
Get a letter from their local government confirming their identity.
Provide a recent photo without glasses (taken after January 2022).
Not have a parent working for NLNG.
Be younger than 12 years old.

How to Apply:

Go to www.nigerialng.com.
Click on “Social Performance” and choose “Education” from the menu.
Find the PPSS Scholarship Application Scheme link in the Related Links section and click on it.
Press “Register Here” to make a profile and start your application.

Important Notes:

Upload all the required documents. If you don’t, your application might not be considered.
Make sure to provide correct contact details (email and phone number) because we’ll use them to update you about your application.
Check your email regularly for updates on your application status.
If you lie about your documents or don’t follow the rules, your application will be rejected.
Only applicants who are shortlisted will be invited for the Selection Test.
Only those who are shortlisted will hear from us.
