Position Title: Sales Officer, North East/North-West

Objective:

The primary aim is to promote and sell Agri-Input products to both existing and potential customers, fostering customer loyalty and retention. This role involves implementing agreed-upon strategies and programs to meet the company’s sales targets within the assigned territory.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales of Agri-Input products to current and prospective customers through various channels, ensuring the achievement of sales targets in the designated area.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders such as the Value Chain Department (VCD), Agronomy team, and partners to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of customer orders and sales incentives/rebates.
  • Coordinate with the Value Chain Department (VCD) and Agronomy team to capitalize on sales opportunities and scale up best practices for greater impact among farmers and dealers.
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer database to ensure proper coverage and targeting within the assigned territory.
  • Participate in farmers’ events alongside the VCD, Agronomy team, and partners to leverage opportunities for Agri-Input sales.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Agriculture (B. Agric.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree
  • Relevant professional certification

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years of sales experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
  • Additional experience in agri-input sales is advantageous
