Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge in professional customer service and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. As a customer service specialist, you should be a self-starter, highly motivated to care for customers and resolve their inquiries. Basic troubleshooting of client products and services may be required. This opportunity is offered to an independent contractor approved to work in the Studio 613 network.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge in professional customer service with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service/technical troubleshooting experience or proven technical ability.
- A quiet workspace with an ergonomic chair and desk.
- Well organized, resourceful, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supporting customers via phone, email, chat, and/or in person.
- Passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience, including comprehensive issue resolution.
- Ability to tailor communication effectively to different audiences.
- Able to self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Thrives in a team where expertise is shared, and feedback is welcomed.
- Effective time management, including the ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize.
- Capable of researching and grasping technical information across multiple tools while talking with customers.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in technical troubleshooting.
- Strive to ensure First Call Resolution (FCR) and complete customer satisfaction.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and currently reside in the United States.
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws.
- Ability to build rapport with all employees.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have no felonies or offenses involving fraud or theft.
Minimum Technical Requirements:
- Monitor display of 17-19″ (non-widescreen) or 19-20″ (widescreen) is required.
- Only PCs with Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit), Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 are compatible.
- Mac OS, Windows 2000, XP, and Vista are not supported for this opportunity
Training Details:
Important Note: All Independent Contractor training classes are held virtually via Blackboard Collaboration. Participation is required Monday through Friday, with evening classes available.
