October 9, 2024

In a bid to restore public trust and ensure safety, CP Mustapha Mohammed Bala, the newly appointed Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, has begun a statewide tour. The tour follows recent disturbances at several council secretariats across the state.

During his visit to the Eleme Local Government Council Secretariat, which was recently vandalized by hoodlums, CP Bala reaffirmed the Police’s commitment to maintaining peace and security in Eleme LGA. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between law enforcement and local authorities.

Chief Brain Gokpa, Executive Chairman of Eleme LGA, reciprocated by pledging his dedication to restoring and safeguarding peace and security in the region.

This development comes after CP Bala’s recent assumption of office, replacing Olatunji Disu ². With his neutrality promise, CP Bala aims to address the security challenges facing Rivers State.
