Erasmus Mundus AFEPA Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Programme in Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Policy Analysis, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A minimum of three years of undergraduate study (180 ECTS credits) with a grade of at least “B” or equivalent. Students in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree may receive provisional admission, contingent upon completing their degree before enrollment.
  • Economics Background: A minimum of 24 ECTS credits in economics, including courses in microeconomics, management, mathematics, and statistics. An introduction to agricultural, environmental, or food sciences is recommended. Official transcripts should reflect ECTS credits, or include a diploma supplement explaining the credit system used.
  • English Proficiency Test Results (not older than two years):
    • TOEFL: Minimum score of 90 on the Internet-based Test (IBT), with at least 20 on the written section.
    • IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5, with no section below 5.5.
    • Alternative Tests: Applicants must seek approval from the AFEPA Management Board if submitting an alternative test score.

    Note: Applicants from English-speaking countries should provide an official letter from their university confirming English as the language of instruction. The consortium may still require additional English test results.
