ELEME CONSULTATIVE FORUM CONDEMNS POOR STATE OF THE ELEME AXIS OF THE EAST-WEST ROAD CAUSING FREQUENT ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS OF COMMUTERS.
Calls On The Honorable Minister Of Works David Umahi To Expedite Job Performance On That Axis To Save Nigerians And Travellers Untimely Deaths And Carnage Arising From The Bad State Of The Road.
The Eleme Consultative Forum ECF., a pan-Eleme sociocultural umbrella organization of the Eleme people has condemned the poor state of the Eleme axis of the East-West Road in Rivers State, which connects the two major Nigerian Oil Refineries, Africa’s largest fertilizer plant-Indorama, the Oil & Gas Free Zone, Federal Ocean & Lighter Terminals of the Nigerian Ports Authority NPA and others, to the rest of Nigeria.

Eleme Consultative Forum in statement made public by its National Chairman, Comrade Agba Nwaji regretted the poor state of the road under the watch of the Federal Ministry of Work superintended by David Umahi, an Engineer.
Comrade Agba Nwaji calls on the Minister, who is a representative of the Government of Nigeria to see this road as a priority, considering its value and inputs to the Nigerian Economy. Agba Nwaji pleaded with the Federal Government to release the funds allocated to this project to fastrack the construction work approved for it.
