Job Description
- General supervision and training of maintenance technicians.
- Inspects building and equipment for preventive maintenance and detect malfunctions.
- Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
- Supervise all maintenance facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors.
- Carryout and supervises plumbing maintenance activities within the facility.
- Carryout and supervise electrical maintenance activities in the facility.
- Supervise painting and remodeling of the facility.
- Hire, train, and motivate facility personnel. Maintain positive staff relations. Conduct or approve performance evaluations for staff.
- Develop and execute system for regular cleaning, repair, and maintenance of facilities.
- Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
- Product and equipment ordering and shipping.
- Ensure to the adherence of Health, Safety and Environment procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, Electrical or Civil Engineering is required.
