Job Description
- We require the service of a Travel counselor in our Lagos office at Ikeja. Ideal candidate must be a current Youth Corps member in Lagos. Corps members in need of place of primary assignment (PPA) should apply.
Key Objectives
- Understanding clients travel requirements and asking relevant questions to gather as much information as possible.
- Outline all options regarding possible destinations, flights, car rentals, accommodation, and exchange rate, as well as discussing issues like safety and immunization with clients.
- Meticulously capturing all clients information into the database
- Booking flights and accommodation and arranging car rentals base on clients specifications
- Ensuring clients are provided with itinerary and schedules where required
- Answering all clients questions and addressing complaints as soon as possible.
- Reporting to the Head of Travels
- Keeping all clients information strictly confidential
- Providing friendly service and building a professional relationship with clients
Job Requirements
- HND / B.Sc in any relevant field (from any recognized university)
- with a First class or minimum of 2:1
- Age: 21-24yrs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Little experience in the travel industry and good geographical knowledge may be advantageous
- Strong computer literacy
- Strong telephone and email etiquette
- A personable matter and sharp attention to details
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a male applicant
- Must reside around Ikeja or be willing to make the commute
Salary
N40,000 – N60,000 monthly.
