Coca-Cola is currently seeking an experienced Production Operator for their Pune location. This role is crucial in identifying and resolving performance issues, contributing to continuous plant improvement.
Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and inclusive culture ensure you’ll feel part of the team from day one. As a Production Operator II, you’ll be on the front lines of our success, performing a variety of manufacturing tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging equipment and provide relief for other operators, reporting and identifying production line problems.
- Utilize computer terminals, including OIT Screen software and Laboratory Information System (LIS) terminals for downtime tracking.
- Perform daily maintenance checks on lift trucks.
- Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Autonomous Maintenance.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot casing equipment, including marsh printers, bar coding systems, and print & apply.
- Complete necessary conveyor adjustments for changeovers and make minor packaging equipment adjustments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience as a Production Operator.
- Good math and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
- Experience with operator OIT control and automated casing equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment start-up and shutdown, understanding machinery and conveyor.
- Ability to identify line problems, non-conforming products, and implement corrective actions.
- Capable of repetitive stooping, lifting 50 pounds, bending, and standing while operating equipment.
- Must be able to work a daily schedule of 8.5 hours with a half-hour unpaid lunch, with overtime and extended hours as required, and work any shift as needed.
