Job Title: Medical Officer

Location: Mowe-Ofada, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Medical Director
Corresponding Relationships: Head Nurse & Administrative Manager

Job Role Objective

  • General Practitioner should be able to communicate the gravity of diagnoses while reassuring patients who are in distress.
  • Ultimately, an outstanding General Practitioner will be cognizant of the ways in which mental health influences physical well-being, and will suggest appropriate referrals if necessary

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspecting and updating patients’ charts.
  • Diagnosing common ailments such as colds, flu, and diabetes.
  • Referring patients to specialists for further testing and treatment, if needed.
  • Creating and issuing invoices to private clients.
  • Submitting claims on behalf of patients who have health insurance.
  • Anticipating and responding to patients’ wellness-related questions and concerns
  • Administering medication topically, orally, and via intravenous or intramuscular injections.
  • Prescribing apt medications and lifestyle alterations.
  • Collecting fluid and tissue samples and sending these to laboratories for further testing.

Qualifications & Minimum Experience

  • MBBS.
  • 1 – 4years post NYSC experience
  • Surgical skills would be an added advantage
  • MDCN.

Salary
N111,000 – N150,000 Monthly.

 

 

Job Title: Registered Mid-Wife / Registered Nurse (Male)
Location: Mowe-Ofada, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Head Nurse
Corresponding Relationships: Nurse, Pharmacist and Front Desk
Supervises: Community Health Workers

Job Role Objective

  • We are seeking for an experienced midwife to guide patients through their pregnancies and deliver their babies.
  • The midwife’s responsibilities include identifying high-risk pregnancies, referring patients to obstetricians as needed, and mentoring student midwives.
  • You should also be able to provide follow-up care to patients after labor.
  • To be successful as a midwife, you should be patient, compassionate, and able to handle difficult situations.
  • Ultimately, an exceptional midwife should be able to gain patients’ trust as well as demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the health of pregnant women and their unborn babies.
  • Educating patients as well as their partners and family members on reproductive health, preparation for parenthood, and antenatal care.
  • Helping patients and their partners to cope with miscarriages, stillbirths, neonatal deaths, and terminations.
  • Teaching new mothers how to feed their newborns.
  • Assisting patients in creating suitable birth plans.
  • Providing sound advice to patients regarding diets, exercises, and medications suitable for pregnancy.
  • Teaching patients with pain management techniques to prepare them for labor.
  • Delivering patients’ babies in birthing centers, patients’ homes, or hospitals as well as providing emotional support and encouragement during labor.
  • Taking and recording patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse as well as ordering diagnostic tests as needed.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited midwifery educational program
  • Experience: 1 – 5 years
  • An interest in the process of pregnancy and birth
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures while caring for patients.
  • Ability to deal with emotionally charged situations
  • Excellent teamworking skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong observational skills

Salary
N600,000 – N720,000 Annually.

Job Title: Financial Accountant / Budget Advisor

Location: Mowe-Ofada, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Role Objective

  • Is to optimize the financial performance of the company including its reporting, liquidity control system and return on investment. Also, He/She must prepare annual budget, forecast performance and report accurate financial results to all Shareholders of Medicplus Hospital.

Reporting Relationship

  • Reports To: Medical Director
  • Corresponding Relationships: Head Nurse & Administrative Manager
  • Supervises: Store Keeper and Interns

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the Medical Director and management
  • Managed outsourced financial activities and relationships.
  • Oversee issuance of financial information & report financial result to Board of Directors.
  • Enforce health, safety and other facility regulations
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning
  • Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Medical Director

Key Performance Indicators

  • % of compliance with budget and forecast
  • Adherence to approved Cost to Income Ratio (CIR)
  • Cycle time for fiancé team to process payment request
  • Cycle time for Annual Audit
  • No. of tax appeal won/lost (% of appeals in favour of Medicplus Hospital)
  • Promptness in preparing financial reports.
  • % audit exceptions raised on FBNIB financial

Specification / Qualification

  • Qualification: A good First Degree in Accounting / Finance.
  • Minimum Experience: 1 – 4years post NYSC experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Professional Membership: Certified membership of ICAN/ACCA will be an added advantage

Salary
N1,500,000.00 – N1,800,000.00 / Annum.
