Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Manager

Locations: Abuja, Delta and Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Assign, supervise and participate in major and minor mechanical repairs on buses and other light motorized equipment; diagnose diesel internal combustion engine maintenance problems.
  • Determine priority of work orders and their assignment to personnel; plan, organize and schedule work flow of employees as assigned; advise and assist assigned personnel; assure timely completion of work.
  • Archive records and reports on vehicle maintenance activities.
  • Conduct in-service training programs for employees with equipment suppliers for new techniques in mechanical repairs.
  • Assist in the selection of new Technicians; train, supervise and evaluate assigned Technicians; recommend disciplinary action or promotion as appropriate; review all completed work and provide feedback as necessary.
  • Initiate requisition for required and authentic materials and equipment used in repairing and servicing of our vehicles.
  • Monitor tools, maintenance equipment and general maintenance safety practices.
  • Diagnose malfunctions of available vehicles types and vehicle equipment.
  • Ensure strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
  • Analyze and report Maintenance data to increase business operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Technical Certificate / B.Sc / HND from an accredited Technical / tertiary institution
  • Eligible candidates must be experienced vehicle mechanics
  • 5 years (minimum) Cognate experience
  • Eligible candidates must possess strong Leadership qualities.

  • Perform basic accounting to ensure Partner’s fleet profitability.
  • Incidence management and reporting to Partners/Investors in the event of an incident involving their fleet
  • Drive Partnership/Investment growth amongst existing Partners.
  • Where appropriate, preparing written responses to tenders, contributing to the completion of application processes, preparing pitch presentations and delivering pitch presentations
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Enterprise Growth Lead.

Job Description

  • Provide day to day finance and account operations support at the group and assigned subsidiary
  • Prepare financial and management reports
  • Reconciliation of revenue and expenses

  • Ensure invoices, payment vouchers and other payment documents are raised according to specified contract terms and service agreement

Qualifications

  • B.Sc Qualification in a relevant field

Underneath your name in your cover letter header, list the following contact details:

  • Portfolio or website (optional)

After your header, include the date and following company contact information:
