Italian Ministry of Interior Scholarships for Refugee Students A.Y. 2023/2024 The Italian Ministry of Interior is offering scholarships for the Academic Year 2023/2024 to students with refugee status or international protection.
Scholarship Details:
- Application Deadline: 4th September 2023
- To be taken at: Italy
- Type: Bachelors, Masters, PhD
- Eligibility: The scholarships are reserved for students with refugee or subsidiary protection status, including those who:
- Are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree (laurea triennale), master’s degree (corso di laurea magistrale o magistrale a ciclo unico), or a PhD program without scholarship (corso di dottorato senza borsa) for A.Y. 2023/24, or
- Have obtained initial registration from an Italian university with reserve in A.Y. 2022/23, or
- Are beneficiaries of this scholarship for the first time between A.Y. 2016/17 onwards, have completed their course of studies, and are enrolled in A.Y. 2023/24 or a higher-level course of studies meeting the specified requisites.
Note: Only students pursuing a master’s degree after a three-year degree or a PhD after a master’s degree will be considered.

- Value of Program: The scholarships cover exemption from taxes and university contributions, accommodation services, meal services, and access to university facilities.

- How to Apply: Candidates must apply through the official website by September 4, 2023, midnight, Rome local time.

- Copy of the document certifying international protection
- For students referred to in art. 2, lett. a: list of exams taken
- For students referred to in art. 2, lett. b: short CV (in Italian or English)
