1). Senior PMO Technical Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The Senior PMO Technical Officer is the custodian of PMO systems, processes, tools, techniques, templates, and reports and will act as the risk management custodian and the interface between the PMO and the rest of the Projects Organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management tools and processes; risk management; exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills; and the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Resident Risk Management Custodian for the PMO
- Identify and develop project management methodologies, techniques, good practices, and standards.
- Track compliance with standards, policies, procedures, and project management forms through project audits.
- Develop and manage on behalf of the project organization, policies, procedures, templates, and other shared Organizational Process Assets
- Manage interdependencies and shared resources between all projects.
- Ensure and coordinate communication between projects.
- Supervise compliance with organizational processes.
- Collate lessons learned and practices-worth-replicating and make these available for other projects.
- Coordinate PMO’s efforts and provide focused communication on projects.
- Prepare status reports for upper management on the progress of projects and highlighting any potential issues that may arise.
- Assess and coordinate coaching, consulting, training, and supervision needs for the Project Management Teams.
Requirements
- Minimum B.Sc. degree in a relevant Engineering or Sciences Discipline
- MBA /Masters in relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
- PMP / PRINCE II certification or other project management qualifications
- SAP – Project Systems.
- Agile or SCRUM certification
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience as a Project Lead, Project Manager or Risk manager or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of project/risk management standards, techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in risk management software such as EasyRisk or equivalent
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.

2). Senior Project Controller
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Summary
- This position will play a critical role in ensuring effective projects control processes, providing accurate projects cost and schedule analysis, and supporting decision-making by projects stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project control methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Establish close working relationships with the Head Project Controls and planning and PMO Managers and other Key Business Partners.
- Coordinate with Head Project Controls and Planning, PMO Manager, other project functional leaders and their teams to translate project plans, resource utilization and timelines into financial forecasts & annual project budgets that are aligned with the company objectives, regional roll-ups, and overall corporate guidance.
- Develop detailed project controls, planning plans and procedures. Maintain project scheduling and control processes, tools, and standards. Analyse project performance, including monitoring key performance indicators across the consolidated project (including intercompany supplier performance)
- Conduct periodic project cost and schedule risk analysis (PCSRA) using Primavera Risk Analysis software (Monte Carlo) to establish the health and determine the confidence level of the baseline project schedule. proactively communicate status & results of reviews.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and update project schedules, incorporating scope changes, resource allocations, and dependencies. Monitor project progress against established schedules, identify schedule risks, and propose mitigation measures.
- Generate schedule performance reports, highlighting critical path activities, milestones, and potential delays. Implement and manage the Earned Value Management (EVM) system for projects. Prepare EVM reports, graphs, and dashboards, providing accurate project performance insights to stakeholders.
- Assist in managing project change control processes, including assessing the impact of change requests on cost, schedule, and resources.
- Collaborate with project teams to evaluate change requests, develop change impact assessments, and provide recommendations to project stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of approved changes, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of change implementation.
- Contribute to the identification, assessment, and management of project risks and issues. Support the development and maintenance of risk and issue registers, tracking risk mitigation and issue resolution actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop risk response strategies and monitor risk mitigation efforts. Analyse risk and issue data to provide insights on potential impacts to project cost and schedule.
- Prepare and deliver regular project control reports, status updates, and presentations to project stakeholders.
Requirements

- A working knowledge of all of the following disciplines: DED, Welding, NDT, Pre-commissioning, Field Joint Coating, Survey and other relevant disciplines

3). Senior Project Cost Estimator
Location: Rivers
Job Summary
- The Senior Project Cost Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, determination of project budgets, and controlling of project budgets, while supporting decision-making by project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation methodologies, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project cost control systems, procedures, and methodologies. Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and commitments to ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Conduct regular cost variance analysis, identifying trends, discrepancies, and potential cost overruns. Provide timely and accurate cost reports, forecasts, and cost performance analyses to project stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project cost estimates based on project scope, specifications, engineering designs, and other relevant inputs.
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis by considering labour, materials, equipment, subcontracting, indirect costs, and contingency factors.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost estimation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in developing and monitoring project budgets, ensuring alignment with cost estimates and financial constraints. Review and validate contractors and suppliers cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project teams to track and control project costs against established budgets, identifying and addressing cost variances. Analyze cost performance data, identify trends, and provide insights to project stakeholders regarding cost implications and potential risks.
- Evaluate project alternatives and propose value engineering solutions to optimize project costs without compromising quality or safety. Prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and cost-to-completion analyses for project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, alternative materials, and construction methods. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making on value engineering initiatives.
- Establish and update cost estimating databases, historical data, and benchmarks for future reference and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to project teams on cost estimation techniques and methodologies.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and assess project risks that could impact project costs.
- Assist in the development of risk response strategies and contingency plans to address potential cost uncertainties. Analyze the impact of identified risks on project cost estimates and incorporate appropriate contingencies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and collaborative cost estimation processes. Participate in project meetings, providing cost-related insights, recommendations, and updates.
- Communicate cost estimation assumptions, methodologies, and results to project stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders, addressing their cost-related inquiries and concerns.
