To be branded a woman of substance, is one of the greatest compliments one can give to a woman that is influencial, a woman of possitive influence. The pressure put on women in today’s society is inmense and I admire any female out there who doesn’t allow criticisms weigh them down.
The world have known many women who have served as sources of inspiration for many generation.
Mrs Felicia Barizasi Tane, who was at the forefront of female participation in Politics, advocating for female inclusion in governance, hailed from Botem in Tai local Government Area, and was elected to represent her immidiate constituen in the Riverstate house of Assembly, due to her vibrant representation her people re-elected her for the second time, making her serve two tenures as a legislator in the Blue Chambers.(2007-2015) She also served in different capacities, so numerous to mention.
She was blessed with a voice, and she actually utilized her voice, whenever it came to standing up for what she believes in or voicing her opinion on things, she never failed to make judicious use of that voice.
She was a woman of many sides, lived a life Worthy of emulation.
