Job Title: Procurement & Supply Chain Supervisor

Job Description

  • We are looking for an innovative Procurement & Supply Chain Supervisor who will manage our company’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain.
  • You’ll be responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses here at MAX.
  • You will spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.
  • As procurement & supply chain manager, you’ll specialize in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required by the company.
  • Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management will be some of your main priorities when carrying out this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms without compromising service delivery and quality
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Create and implement an effective procurement standard operating procedure, control of workflows, continuous business processes monitoring and elaboration of improvements in systems and processes.
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage and monitor all transactional procurement including tendering processes, evaluation, contracting, contract management, legal considerations and payment conditions, contractors, performance evaluation and risk assessment.
  • Develop and manage the rosters of suppliers, elaborate supplier selection and evaluation, quality and performance measurement mechanisms.
  • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual procurement plans and progress reports as required.
  • Promote a zero-tolerance for violations of procurement policies and procedures.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience.
  • Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a global context – Previous experience working in high-impact environments is preferred.
  • Proven track record of engagement with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills; extensive experience in managing and mobilizing cross-functional teams.

Job Title: Health, Safety 7 Environment Supervisor

Description

  • We are looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor who will be responsible for implementing health and safety policies at MAX.
  • You’ll be expected to detect dangerous conditions, reviewing safety procedures, disseminating safety information to various departments, training employees on safety topics, and running emergency exercises.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:

  • Develop / review, and implement safe working practices at MAX
  • Ensure 100% compliance with current health and safety legislation across MAX business locations
  • Create systemised process that ensures equipments are installed correctly/safely
  • Develop / review internal health and safety policies/strategies
  • Drawing-up safe operational procedures
  • Make regular site inspections across MAX business location and ensure safety measures are put in place and adhered to
  • Put in place preventive recommendations against workplace accidents and proper documentation/SOP of incidents
  • Providing health and safety training courses for employees and managers
  • Investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of accidents, etc
  • Undertake risk assessments and proffer lasting solutions in risk occurrence
  • Identifying potential hazards and reduce workplace accidents
  • Liaising with relevant authorities.

Requirements
What You’ll Need:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a Health, Safety, or Environmental field of study
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in health and safety: safety program development, fire prevention, hazardous materials, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, process safety management, process hazard analysis, incident investigation and the development and implementation of safe operations procedures and processes
  • A recognized HSE certification
  • Ability to work in a global context – Previous experience working in high-impact environments is preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of engagement with C-suite stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills; extensive experience in managing and mobilizing cross-functional teams
  • Understand the diverse nature of different countries i.e., work environments, culture

  • Data-driven method for decision making using KPIs and metrics.

  • Measure and track delivery ROI on identified transformation opportunities for customer experience along with driving continuous process improvement culture across customer experience
  • Build the Management Structure to effectively support 20,000 Champions
  • Conduct research to find out more about customer behavior and preferences
  • Create strategies that ensures optimal Driver welfare management
  • Interact at executive/senior management level, proactively advocating for solutions and managing the customer escalation process
  • Create and implement an analytics strategy for best in class service delivery. Leverage existing and additional relevant technologies for reporting and analytics across customer service and other customer facing functions/ channels
  • Gather feedback, such as surveys, from customers to learn more about their experience with the company
  • Proactively ensure the Academy team performs testing and training inline with best practice
  • Ensure compliance with transportation laws and procedures
  • Improve External Customer Experience via targeted process improvement
  • Create strategies that ensures we have in place a world class customer service team
  • Create Key Performance index across all teams
  • Build the Driver Setup Organization to effectively support the rollout of 20,000 Champions

  • Create standardization around Emergency response flow and turn around time across all MAX locations
  • Create proactive and reactive solutions to champions complaints
  • Negotiate and ensure we have the best service offerings from Insurance companies to provide Family HMO for drivers across the platform.

Requirements
What You’ll Need:

  • B.Sc / BA qualification
  • 10+ years’ general experience in customer satisfaction
  • 5+ years in strategic leadership, strategic planning, product development, and management consulting in a fast paced global organization
  • Deep understanding of technology, product management, and change management
  • Deep understanding of marketing, sales, finance and operations
  • High levels of energy and drive, willingness to work hard
  • Experience in Mobility/Fintech/Gig-economy/eCommerce
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, coordination and organizational skills

How to write a cover letter that gets you the job

Here’s how to make a great cover letter for a job application:

Underneath your name in your cover letter header, list the following contact details:

  • First and last name
  • Email address (something professional, usually including your name)
  • Phone number
  • Mailing address (optional)
  • Linkedin profile link (optional)
  • Portfolio or website (optional)

After your header, include the date and following company contact information:

  • First and last name of the person you’re writing to, or the relevant department

2. Address the hiring manager (ideally by their name)
