HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR OJI NGOFA PLAYS HOST TO ‘CLASS85’ OF STELLA MARIS COLLEGE PH OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION
The immediate past Nigerian Ambassador to the Royal Kingdom of The Netherlands, His Excellency Chief Hon. Ambassador Oji Ngofa, Sunday 27th December, 2020, played host to his childhood friends and classmates from the prestigious and ancient Stella Maris College Portharcourt, Rivers State.
The event held at the Country Home of the Chief Host, Chief Oji Ngofa, who during his time at Stella Maris, was the College’s most prized footballer, best dressed and neatest on campus.
An elated host, Chief Oji Ngofa, expressed thanks to God for sparing their lives and making it possible for them to gather on a day like this.
Ngofa further alluded that it was quite gracious and a happy day, to see childhood first friends, converge, though in very big and huge sizes, far from how tiny in shapes, they were, way back at Stella. He called on those present to sustain this spirit, while also praying God , to grant members His loving grace.
Meanwhile, the President of the Class, Mr. Ibigoni Benjamin, who took charge at the feast , thanked God for sparing their lives, even amidst the COVID-19, and now COVID-20 Pandemics, the President appreciated all for making out time to honour the Class. He also presided over a chat towards instituting a landmark project at their Alma Mater, as he called all on to a round table discussion.
The occasion was a merry making one, as there was enough to eat and drink, with a classical music band at the background, to set the the nerves and calm the souls.
