NPC 2023 Census Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment Latest News Update All You Need To Know NPC Ad-hoc Recruitment News 2023: Census 2022 will be Nigeria’s first Digital Census and will change the way Census is conducted in Nigeria till now. This approach started with the delineation of enumeration areas covering the entire territorial space of Nigeria using handheld devices and geographic information systems (GIS) and satellite imagery to generate the digital census maps.

The digital framework produced is an important tool for planning human and material resources for the census. This defines the enumerators’ work areas and forms the basis for the distribution of material during the enumeration.

The Population and Housing Census (PHC) is of great importance for the economic, political and socio-cultural planning of a country. Policy intervention and the monitoring of development goals require reliable and detailed data on the size, structure, distribution and socio-economic and demographic characteristics of a country’s population.

The 2022 census will be digital, thus increasing data accuracy. For the census, electronic forms hosted on Personal Digital Assistant devices will be used to capture information about all buildings, households and people in the EA.

Things to Know About The 2023 NPC Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment

  • Application window opens 31st October 2022 and closes 28th December 2022
  • There will be temporary system closure of the e-recruitment portal for internal review from 7th to 13th November 2022
  • Screening of application in all LGAs start 20tg November 2022
  • All qualified Nigerians are eligible to apply
  • The minimum age to apply os 18 years
  • The maximum age to apply is 60 years
  • The minimum academic qualification to apply is SSCE
  • The commission is expected to receive over 25 million applications
  • 1.5 million personnel are to be recruited .
  • Applicants should save their unique application ID
