Job Description

  • Experienced with preparing national and continental dishes

  • Collaborate and work as part of the wider hotel management team
  • Recruit, train, develop, and retain chefs and kitchen personnel; create plans for the team by agreed objectives and goals in appraisals and reviews
  • Responsible for stock control and achieving business gross profit margins
  • Schedules and organizes regular menu taste panels for the front of house team
  • Manages and meets the expectations of  relevant audits
  • Review of menus and feedback to the Food and Beverage team
  • All menus are delivered to brand standards and menu specification
  • Manages expectations behind the pass as well as in the outlets, driving customer and employee engagement.
  • Participating in constructing daily menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
  • Maintain hygiene and quality standards and follow sanitary rules
  • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years experience as a Head Chef in a reputed restaurant,  or culinary-focused operation
  • Advanced level certification in food safety, preferably at level 3 or higher
  • Prior experience in a branded environment
  • You have a broad experience of working in a dynamic environment, primarily in service industries
  • You have a passion for cooking and food preparation with a focus on the quality of preparation, but also on the presentation of dishes
  • You keep track of new culinary trends and know different types of cuisine
  • You are familiar with food safety and the basics of HACCP
  • You love working with people and are prone to teamwork
  •  You have a professional approach to work and colleagues
  • You actively use English and other local dialects in speech
  • You have a strong focus on details

  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
  • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / BA in Business Administration, Logistics or relevant field;
  • Proven 2-5 years experience as inventory officer  or similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
  • An analytical mind with strong math skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CPIM) will be a plus

  • This is an opportunity for a proactive and highly organized Personal Assistant ready to take on the challenge of supporting and partnering with the CEO.
  • You will be responsible for liaising with administrative functions of the business to assist with the provision of accurate, timely, and statistical information for the company reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the CEO
  • Diary & email management – ensure appropriate times are provided for meetings and work in progress,and monitor email messages.
  • Coordinate client meetings and functions, including liaising with the Office Manager for catering and room/venue requirements.

  • Conducting or preparing any research that the CEO may require.

  • Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings where necessary.
  • Perform any other task assigned by the CEO

Qualifications
The skills and experience you will bring to this role include:

  • Experience in a similar role ideally within the Hospitality industry
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and PDF editing.
  • Skill and experience in preparing, and formatting and proofreading documents, including spelling and grammar, high level attention to detail with a focus on consistency and flow throughout the document.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Work with the Operations Manager in coordinating pre-deployment briefing, post-deployment debriefing, and reporting procedures.

  • Monitor the ROB readings and consumption levels of all Operations Patrol Boat movements with 24 hours readings.
  • Coordinate the Bunkering of Operations Patrol Boats in conjunction with the approval system.
  • Ensure all Operations Patrol Boat Communication systems including the tracking system, are monitored and reported to appropriate departments to ensure minimal downtime is experienced.
