Job Title: Executive Assistant to the CEO

Job Summary

  • We are recruiting for a new executive assistant to support our executive team.
  • ou will manage mostly business-related tasks for the team such as creating reports, organizing travel and accommodation, taking minutes, and other organizational tasks.
  • To do this role properly you should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, be extremely fast at solving problems and have experience as an executive or administration assistant in the past.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing financial statements, reports, memos, invoices letters, and other documents.
  • Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages.
  • Handling basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports.
  • Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by boards of directors, committees, and executives.
  • Helping prepare for meetings.
  • Accurately recording minutes from meetings.
  • Greeting visitors and deciding if they should be able to meet with executives.
  • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Reading and analyzing incoming memos, and submissions, and distributing them as needed.
  • Making travel arrangements for executives.
  • Performing office duties that include ordering supplies and managing a records database.
  • Experience as a virtual assistant.
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming emails, and other correspondence.
  • Provide general administrative support.

Requirements

  • University Degree qualification
  • 1 – 4 years of work experience.
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support experience.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire MS Office suite.
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with little or no supervision.

Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities
The Java Developer will be responsible for:

  • The design and implementation of the Java technology web applications
  • Software life cycle management from analysis to maintenance of the delivered solutions
  • Analyzing requirements and interfacing closely with the stakeholders and taking their ideas and turning them into a design

Requirements
The successful Java Developer will have the following level of experience & skills:

  • A Degree in Computer Science or a related subject
  • 2 – 3 years professional experience in developing web applications based on Java technology
  • Familiar with using component based Java Frameworks: Vaadin, GWT (Google Web Toolkit), Wicket, Echo
  • Designing and developing applications using JavaScript Frameworks: jQuery, Dojo, ExtJs, YUI
  • A solid background in: OO Design Patterns, Spring, Hibernate/JPA, Maven, JUnit or TestNG
  • Principles of continuous-integration, principles of database design and some SQL.
  • Some knowledge of Tomcat server administration and Linux systems management would clearly be an asset
  • A broad overview of related enterprise software technologies such as CMS, User Directory and authentication technologies
  • Excellent communications skills in English.

  • Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
  • Hands on experience with markup languages
  • Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
  • Understanding of layout aesthetics.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems
  • An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.

How to write a cover letter that gets you the job

Here’s how to make a great cover letter for a job application:

Underneath your name in your cover letter header, list the following contact details:

  • First and last name
  • Email address (something professional, usually including your name)
  • Phone number
  • Mailing address (optional)
  • Linkedin profile link (optional)
  • Portfolio or website (optional)

After your header, include the date and following company contact information:

  • First and last name of the person you’re writing to, or the relevant department
  • Company address
  • Company phone number
  • Hiring manager’s email address

 

2. Address the hiring manager (ideally by their name)

Next, address your cover letter to the hiring manager by name if possible. A standard cover letter salutation includes the hiring manager’s first and last name, and begins with a “Mr.”, “Ms.”, or another relevant professional title.
