Job Title: Optometrist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough routine eye inspections.
  • Identify the patient’s visual alertness, the field of vision, and
  • hand-eye coordination.
  • Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness and color blindness.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and medications.
  • Maintain accurate medical files for all patients.
  • Promote eye health by teaching patients about proper eye care
  • techniques.
  • Identify and assess eye defects and diseases
  • Record all diagnosis and treatment plans including transfers and therapeutic prescriptions.

Requirements

  • Minimum experience of 2 years post NYSC in Optometry from reputable Eye Clinic(s)
  • Have a valid Practicing License.
  • Be able to use Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for work, reports, and presentations.
  • Must have records of proven competence.
  • Preferably for candidates residing within Ikeja/Ogba/Oshodi/Agege Axis.

Remuneration
N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly.

Job Title: Opthalmic Registered Nurse

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

 

  • Provide first aid treatment in cases of eye injuries and emergencies.
  • Perform preliminary physical examinations, such as a blood test, to detect possible underlying illness that could contribute to an eye problem (for example, hypertension).
  • Perform initial screenings on patients.
  • Collect medical histories.
  • Assist in eye examinations.
  • Offer tips and advice to help patients manage eye pain and other symptoms.
  • Show patients how to administer medication.
  • Educate patients on the treatment of ocular conditions.
  • Prepare patients for surgery and assist during operations.
  • Provide after-surgery care for patients.
  • Carry out some eye tests and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2 – 3 years of experience.
  • Must have Experience working with Ophthalmologists and Optometrists.
  • Should reside within Ikeja / Ogba / Oshodi / Agege Axis for proximity to work.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly.

Job Title: Medical Sales Representative

Job Description

 

 

 

  • We are looking to hire a persuasive and customer-orient Medical Sales Representative to persuade health care professionals to purchase our medical products.
  • The medical sales representative’s responsibilities include identifying new opportunities to increase product sales, investigating and resolving customer complaints, and strategically negotiating the terms of sale with customers to close sales.
  • You should also be able to take the necessary steps to develop an in-depth understanding of the latest clinical data proffered by the company.

Responsibilities

  • Assess client’s needs and present suitable promoted products
  • Present product information and deliver product samples
  • Communicate with and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe our products utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis
  • Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits
  • Maintaining solid working relationships with new and existing customers by providing excellent after-sales service.
  • Keep detailed records of all contacts
  • Manage budgets for catering, outside speakers, conferences and hospitality
  • Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
  • Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the area sales team or discuss future targets with the area sales manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical sales representative or similar role
  • Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and latest medical issues
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and networking skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.

Remuneration
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with key people or organizations in the media

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly.

How to write a cover letter that gets you the job

Here’s how to make a great cover letter for a job application:

Underneath your name in your cover letter header, list the following contact details:

  • First and last name
  • Email address (something professional, usually including your name)
  • Phone number
  • Mailing address (optional)
  • Linkedin profile link (optional)
  • Portfolio or website (optional)

After your header, include the date and following company contact information:

  • First and last name of the person you’re writing to, or the relevant department
  • Company address
  • Company phone number
  • Hiring manager’s email address

 

2. Address the hiring manager (ideally by their name)
