Job Title: Trade Finance Specialist

Locations: Ibadan – Oyo, Ilorin – Kwara, Benin – Edo and Port Harcourt – Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Trading Working Capital Management
  • Manage all commerce accounting operations including AR, AP, GL, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Bank Accounting including real-time reporting of key financial metrics.
  • Drive finance alignment with commercial and operations teams to support realization of business and operational objectives and key results.
  • Drive the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Initiate and drive operational cost reduction initiatives along key distribution cost lines (Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Financing Costs etc.) with the overall objective of increasing net profits.
  • Ensure quality control over all Financial Transactions and Internal Financial and Management reporting ensuring that all stakeholders are taking decisions with reliable information/insights.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance/Economics.
  • 4 – 5 years of in Trade Finance within a FMCG Distribution trading company or a bank in a reputable commercial bank.
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.

Job Description

  • The Warehouse Officer is critical to the success of our warehouse operations. This involves receiving inventory supply, maintaining accurate records of inventory and shipping inventory for daily fulfilment of our retail customers’ orders

Responsibilities

  • Receive inventory and maintaining inventory in the assigned warehouse or distribution center
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure there is no over-stocking or out-of-stock of inventory
  • Maintain the storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles and recommending improvements.
  • Ensure that all loading/offloading of the delivery vans are done effectively and on time with zero damage to the inventory
  • Accurate and timely order processing and order shipping at the warehouse or distribution center
  • Maintain safety and security standards in the warehouse or distribution center
  • Ensure detailed and accurate records are maintained

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent with 3 years’ work experience as a Warehouse Officer or Warehouse Assistant preferably in the FMCG industry
  • Expertise in warehouse operations
  • Experience using Inventory management software.
  • Team building and management skills.
  • Demonstrate warehousing operation expertise.
  • Numerical skills and computer literacy

Job Description

  • The Procurement Manager (Retail) is a key position at TradeDepot and is focused on driving excellence in our supply operations in your city.
  • As an integral part of TradeDepot’s operations in each city, the Supply Manager is responsible for working closely with external supply partners to develop and implement strategic procurement plans for all categories at the lowest cost.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of and execution of category management strategies for all product categories.
  • In line with strategic objectives, lead the negotiations to select, appoint and steer, a supply base that progresses the company objectives on cost, on time and in full delivery
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define categories to prioritise for sourcing.
  • Drive the onboarding of suppliers to our Seller Program
  • Evaluate competitive offers and present sourcing options that meet business requirements

  • Conduct in depth cost and spend analysis in order to develop cost savings initiatives through various cost reduction options
