Join Our Team: Trainee Cashier Position
We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Trainee Cashier.
Job Details:
- Job Title: Trainee Cashier

- Locations: Southwest and Southeast, Nigeria
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform deposit and withdrawal transactions (cash and cheque) for clients within approved limits
- Respond to customers’ enquiries or complaints in a polite and courteous manner within the cash area
- Adhere to the Cashbox Procedure and other applicable MEMOs
- Maintain orderly arrangement and storage of cash in the Till box
- Verify customers’ account details, signatures, and pictures before conducting transactions
- Ensure accurate record keeping and filing of transaction reports and receipts
- Support deposit mobilization efforts
- Assist client advisor team in raising deposits and cross-selling products
- Inform clients about funds transfer options
Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification of OND in any related field
- 1-2 years of working experience in any related field is advantageous
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using a PC
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
