Position Summary
- The Education Officer will take responsibility for planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of education programme to improve children’s learning outcomes through both formal and non-formal education activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in the areas of education in emergencies to teachers, volunteers and community members engaged in the project.
- Closely collaborate with the concerned stakeholders to ensure that programme goals are achieved and sustained.
- Actively participate in education-related activities and meetings, and seek active collaboration with other players working in the education sector.
- Adhere to the work plan and ensure the activities are fully implemented as per the standards.
- Ensure close supervision and support to field based education activities.
- Identify and communicate project gaps, challenges and vulnerabilities to the line manager on a timely basis and suggest possible solutions to the problems.
- Promote inclusion and equal access to education for every child, paying particular attention to the most vulnerable and at-risk children.
- Ensure adherence to project standards and quality requirements in all the project activities.
- Report serious cases of abuse to the Child Safeguarding focal point, Line Manager or Project Coordinator. Strict confidentiality must be respected.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and final report based on the project targets and results.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Education Degree: University Degree in Social Work, Education, Social Studies, Human Rights, or any other related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Education / Child Protection / SGBV / Social Work / Case Management.
- Good analytical and writing skills.
- Good knowledge of MS office software.
- The ability to work with people of all ages and from a range of backgrounds
- Language skills: Fluent in local languages and in English (speaking/reading/writing).

- The Communication Officer is in charge of managing and directing YOPCODI’s public relations, develop and distributes information to promote the organisation and ensure that all communications are made in the most appropriate and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining a high quality photo gallery as well as creating short videos to promote YOPCODI work and mission
- Develop and conduct communications trainings for staff and volunteers
- Support the design of YOPCODI reports and periodic dashboards
- Contribute on creating online content and managing most effective social media pages as per the organisation’s culture
- Create and produce internal newsletters for the organisation
- Develop and maintain working relationships with journalists in multiple types of media outlets
- Act as a spokesperson for the organization.

- Relevant Degree of equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role

Position Summary
- The M&E Officer is responsible for observing and ensuring high quality and timely inputs, and for ensuring that a project maintains its strategic vision and that its activities result in the achievement of its intended outputs in a cost effective and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures;
- Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress on achievement of results;
- Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system;
- Develop indicators and a monitoring strategy for projects;
- Recommend further improvement of the logical framework;
- Develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success;
- Provide inputs, information and statistics for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to Project Management Team;
- Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Project Manager in preparing relevant reports;
- Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the project;
- Provide feedback to the Project Manager on project strategies and activities;
- Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks;
- Report monthly, quarterly, half-year and annual progress on all project activities;
- Measurable Outputs and Performance Indicators;
- Perform other duties as required.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- B.Sc or HND in Statistics, Measurement and Evaluation, Education ior related field
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in monitoring and evaluation
- Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports
- Proven ICT skills especially in the development of MIS software using database software
- Expertise in analysing data using statistical software
- Strong training and facilitation skills
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to respond positively to critical feedback and different points of view.
