Job Summary
We’re looking for caring Home Lesson Teachers to join our team at EduPoint. As a Home Lesson Teacher, you’ll work closely with students at their homes to give them personalized one-on-one teaching, support their learning, and help them do well in school.
Responsibilities
- Teach students one-on-one at their homes, focusing on what each student needs and wants to learn.
- Make fun and interesting lesson plans that fit each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and how they like to learn.
- Give feedback, tests, and reports on how students are doing to their parents or guardians.
- Get students ready for tests, help them learn how to study, and understand their subjects better.
- Create a positive environment for learning, and help students feel motivated and confident.
- Use EduPoint’s tools to plan lessons, keep track of them, and show how students are doing.
Requirements:
- You need a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, a related subject, or experience that’s similar.
- You must have worked as a teacher, tutor, or educator in the subjects you’ll teach.
- You need to be good at talking to people, getting along with them, and keeping things organized.
- You should really like teaching and helping students do their best.
- You should be able to change how you teach to help different students learn better.
- You need to have a way to get to students’ homes for lessons.
