Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description

  • Supply Chain Managers are pivotal players in the logistics planning process.
  • They help companies identify problems as they develop, manufacture, store, and ship products.
  • They must be able to create strategies by analyzing information and processes and present their findings.
  • Supply Chain Management requires an understanding of accounting, legal documents, and to build lasting relationships as they increase efficiency and focus on warehouse optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products.
  • Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.
  • Understanding of principles of accounting and finance.
  • Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds in order to identify problems and find solutions.
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 0-3 years work experience.
  • Understanding of accounting or finance.
  • Must be able to comprehend legal documents.
  • Strong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships with people all over the world.
  • May require experience in a related field.
  • Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.

Salary

Job Title: Road Freight Coordinator

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of orders agreed with our customers
  • Maintaining proper and accurate Pre-Shipment and Post-shipment Administration
  • Building strong relationships with drivers, clients, and transporters
  • Answer and resolve any client queries
  • Arranging and coordinating the sourcing and delivery of vehicles
  • Managing tasks and plan routes for transporters & Drivers
  • Maintain compliance – monitoring drivers, ensuringvehicles are compliant

Qualifications

  • Minimum education – BA / B.Sc / HND / OND preferably in Transportation & Logistics or related field.

  • Functional knowledge in Supply Chain
  • Preferably knowledge of import and export
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills

  • Planning skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Numerate.
  • Software skills such as Excel, Access, Powerpoint highly preferred
  • A quick thinker with initiative.
  • Interpersonal skills and relationship building

Salary

  • Develop inventory staff schedule
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle
  • Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business or related field, required
  • 0-3 years of experience in an inventory role
  • Experience training, coaching, and mentoring
  • Able to use a computer and other office technology
  • Knowledgeable of inventory software
  • Able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment
  • Good communication skills.

Salary
