Job Title: Admin Officer
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

  • Admin and Operating Officer will be responsible for providing high-level organization-wide leadership. Reporting to the Executive Director(ED), the Admin and Operating Officer will provide strategic leadership over the Foundation’s operational and administrative functions and overall responsibility for executing daily operations for the Foundation liaising with department heads and other external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the company’s strategic planning process and translate the overall strategy into actionable plans to ensure the achievement of the Foundation’s goals and objectives.
  • Supervise the preparation of the annual budget, as well as long-term fiscal plans for the Foundation; direct the development, implementation and adherence to budgets and systems to achieve operating and financial objectives.
  • Facilitate the establishment of key process performance metrics, monitor performance, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed dashboard/reports for the CEO.
  • Ensure the Foundation follows all regulatory requirements and agreements.
  • Build a highly inclusive culture that ensures all team members thrive & organizational outcomes are met. Ensure all staff are professionally managed, mentored and developed as part of performance management practice.
  • Assist the CEO in fundraising ventures. Work closely with the CEO to achieve growth targets and development/expansion plans. Set departments’ high-level goals, objectives and plans and work with them on attaining such goals by closely monitoring their operations.
  • Conduct a strategic review of performance on a regular basis to determine whether the Foundation is meeting its short-and long-term objectives (increase in profits, increase in market share, return on investment, etc.).

Requirement

  • B.Sc Degree in Business Administration, Finance or any other relevant discipline
  • 2-5 years experience
  • An MBA or Business-related postgraduate degree would be an added advantage.

Skillset Requirements:

  • Out of the box thinker and a doer
  • Excellent verbal and interactive communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting applications (Quickbooks and others)
  • Ability to multi-task, respond rapidly and work without supervision.
  • Have a sense of detail, positive and team spirit.
  • Excellent writing skills including story writing and copywriting skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in cloud software applications (Skydrive, Dropbox, Google Docs)

Job Title: Gender Program Officer
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Role and Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day coordination of female-centric campaigns and programs.
  • Take the leadership and oversight role for the implementation of designated gender program activities (training sessions, conferences, missions and stakeholders/donor meetings), including the development of activity budgets;
  • Establishing the work plan, activities, targets, budget, standards for measuring progress and results and determining the processes, tools and methodologies to be used to ensure an effective and efficient project.
  • Support in formulation, implementation and evaluation activities from a substantive point of view on issues related to gender, gender mainstreaming and women’s empowerment;
  • Seek out robust strategies to grow a platform/community of females:
    • Drive fundraising, resource mobilization and strategic partnership for the project.
    • Develop and prepare proposals, reports, annual work plans and progress reports in line with gender projects.

Qualifications / Skillset Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification
  • 1-3 years experience in gender and women advancement issues and project implementation.
  • Excellent writing skills including story writing and copywriting skills
  • Research and analytical skills.
  • Understanding basic social media and digital marketing skills will be an advantage
  • Have a sense of detail, positive and team spirit.

Salary

  • N130,000 – N150,000 monthly.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of GIT (version control)

  • Cloud Server Administration experience (Linux)
  • Working knowledge of NGINX

Here’s how to make a great cover letter for a job application:

Underneath your name in your cover letter header, list the following contact details:

  • First and last name

After your header, include the date and following company contact information:
