Job Title: Financial Reporting Officer

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • The Company is seeking to hire a Financial Reporting Officer who will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
  • S/he will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial data, preparing statutory reports, and ensuring that all financial reporting is conducted legally and ethically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing accurate financial statements and documents covering accounting transactions for management and regulatory review.
  • Ensuring that financial records are maintained in strict accordance with IFRS and standard accounting practices.
  • Monitoring budget performance and providing detailed variance analysis for expenditure control.
  • Overseeing the reconciliation of accounts to ensure data integrity in all financial reports.
  • Mediating tax refunds and ensuring transparency in the allocation for valid claims.
  • Following up on outstanding refunds, false claims, and unclaimed refunds to ensure accurate balance sheet reporting.
  • Providing auditors with all records, documents, and files about VAT returns, VAT settlements, and transactional data.
  • Working closely with other departments to gather data for comprehensive business reporting.
  • Preparing various monthly reports to analyse business financial health, including sales reports, profit and loss statements, general ledger entries, goods received notes, and goods issued notes.

Requirements

  • Good First Degree in any relevant field.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ Cognate experience as a Financial Reporting Officer or similar role.
  • Good business writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent team management skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Willingness to learn on the job.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and pay attention to details.

Salary
N190,000 monthly Net + Other benefits.

Job Title: IT Officer / Manager

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Part-time
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday: 8 am to 6 pm

Key Responsibilities

  • System and Database Administration.
  • Manage Website.
  • Software installation, configuration, database backup and restore/recovery maintenance.
  • Windows operating System maintenance and repair.
  • Performance of troubleshooting and diagnosis of hardware/software,
  • Provision of solution to network failure.
  • Any other issues that needs the IT officer’s attention.
  • Coordinate with procurement and purchasing teams to place orders for replenishment stock, ensuring timely delivery and availability of inventory items.
  • Support inventory and stock management systems, ensuring smooth operation
  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies including to create, curate, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a positive and professional manner.Manage social media advertising campaigns to drive targeted traffic and sales.
  • Track and report on social media performance and ROI.
  • Any other assigned task by the management.

Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND / OND in IT related course with minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows environments, POS systems, and networked devices.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Good understanding of basic networking (Wi-Fi, routers/switches, IP addressing).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues simply.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Previous IT support experience in retail or a similar customer-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with retail systems such as POS, back-office stock systems, or handheld scanners.

N100,000 – N150,000 / month

  • The Bancassurance Executives act as the Company’s representatives in identifying business opportunities (Sales of Life and General Insurance Products) within designated partner bank branches closest to their homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with Branch employees and customers.
  • Solicit new clients, and grow prospective/existing clientele.
  • Handles activities that involve reporting, planning, and administration.
  • Conducts market analysis activities, which include branch/client profiling and surveys on competitor products.
  • Attends the District/Region’s monthly/quarterly meetings.

Requirements:
Experience/Qualification:

  • First-degree or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 2 years post NYSC work experience with at least 1 year of experience in Insurance Sales.

Job Title: Policy Renewal Officer

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

  • We are seeking to hire a Policy Renewal Officer, who will be responsible for reviewing insurance applications to ensure that all questions have been answered, compiling data on insurance policy changes, changing policy records to conform to insured party’s specifications, compiling data on lapsed insurance policies to determine automatic reinstatement according to company policies, canceling insurance policies as requested by agents, and verifying the accuracy of insurance company records.
  • The ideal candidate for this role should be highly analytical and possess an in-depth knowledge of policies and regulations in the insurance industry. S/he must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interview policyholders and take their calls to provide customer service and obtain information on claims.
  • Process, prepare, and submit business or government forms, such as submitting applications for coverage to insurance carriers.
  • Process and record new insurance policies and claims.
  • Correspond with the insured or agent to obtain information or inform them of the account status or changes.
  • Organize and work with detailed office or warehouse records, maintaining files for each policyholder, including policies that are to be reinstated or cancelled.
  • Review and verify data, such as age, name, address, and principal sum and value of property on insurance applications and policies.
  • Collect initial premiums and issue receipts.
  • Modify, update, and process existing policies and claims to reflect any change in beneficiary, amount of coverage, or type of insurance.
  • Transcribe data to worksheets and enter data into the computer for use in preparing documents and adjusting accounts.
  • Notify the insurance agent and accounting department of policy cancellation.
  • Calculate premiums, refunds, commissions, adjustments, and new reserve requirements, using insurance rate standards.
  • Examine letters from policyholders or agents, original insurance applications, and other company documents to determine if changes are needed and the effects of changes.
  • Compare information from the application to the criteria for policy reinstatement and approve reinstatement when the criteria are met.
