Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Locations: Nigeria
Job Type: Full Time

Job Purpose

• The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• The role involves overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, minimizing equipment downtime, improving asset utilization, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting production operations to achieve operational excellence and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the entire plant in machine repairs during shift and minimize losses from machine breakdown.
• Extract and analyze mechanical data for production process.
• Support corrective maintenance and ensure proper troubleshooting and knowledge transfer.
• Manage repair activities and modification process.
• Evaluate the performance of shift technicians and maintenance technicians with regards to solving machine issues.
• Assess and train technicians and operators in basic machine repairs.
• Support and maintain inventory requirements for mechanical component.
• Collaborate and manage external resources as regards to machine repairs.
• Prepare, execute and evaluate required machine breakdown history to minimize repair time
• Carry out machine performance breakdown analysis.
• Develop and implement machine maintenance and repair policy.

Qualifications

• First Degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Control System Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in a well-structured FMCG (botting) company, with specific expertise in Krones Machines.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of Mechanical Control System
• Bottling Equipment Overhauling and Troubleshooting Skills

• HACCP, GHK and GMP Compliance Monitoring Skills.

Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Job Purpose

• The Finance Business Partner is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing all activities related to the role, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, stakeholder collaboration, cost optimization, risk management and achievement of departmental and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes for assigned business functions.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing timely variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual management reports highlighting key financial and operational performance indicators.
• Drive profitability by identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization and operational efficiency.
• Provide commercial and financial support for new business initiatives, capital investments, pricing decisions and business cases.
• Develop robust financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, product profitability and strategic projects.

Qualifications

• First Degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related discipline
• Professional Certification, e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFA, etc. is required
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience on similar role.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of FMCG manufacturing operations, supply chain and cost drivers.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.

Job Title: Production / Factory Accountant

Job Purpose

• The Production/Factory Accountant is responsible for managing all factory-related accounting activities, ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing cost control, and financial reporting.
• The role partners with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations teams to provide timely financial insights, monitor manufacturing performance, optimize production costs, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all factory accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of manufacturing financial records.
• Prepare and maintain product costing, standard costing and cost allocation models for all production lines.
• Monitor direct material, direct labor and manufacturing overhead costs, identifying cost drivers and recommending improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production costs, yield variances, material usage and operational efficiencies, providing recommendations to management.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production cost reports and management reports.
• Reconcile raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods and production inventory with physical stock records.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor inventory movements, stock adjustments, write-offs and obsolete inventory, ensuring appropriate financial treatment.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities relating to factory operations, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• This individual will work closely with senior leadership to monitor progress, identify risks, and optimize execution to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the formulation and execution of the company’s corporate strategy, including long-term vision, growth initiatives, and market expansion plans.
• Develop implementation frameworks for approved strategic plans.
• Monitor the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with goals.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and cross-department collaboration.
