Job Title: Product Manager
Location: Remote

Summary
- The Product Manager will oversee the end-to-end development and launch of the platform’s Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within a specific timeline.
- The role involves product strategy, team coordination, agile execution, user research, quality assurance, and supporting fundraising through product-related materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritising MVP delivery and future releases.
- Coordinate designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.
- Recruit and onboard required product development team members.
- Manage Agile/Scrum activities, including stand-ups, sprint reviews, and backlog prioritisation.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, user interviews, and pilot testing to validate product features.
- Document product requirements, user stories, workflows, and development milestones.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and post-launch performance monitoring.
- Provide weekly progress reports highlighting milestones, risks, blockers, and next steps.
- Support fundraising activities through pitch decks, investor updates, and product demonstrations.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Delivery of the MVP within the agreed timeline and scope.
- User engagement, adoption, and product performance.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication.
- Timely and accurate product documentation and reporting.
- Quality assurance, successful UAT, and deployment readiness.
- Effective contributions to fundraising and investor engagement materials.
- Performance Expectation: The Product Manager is responsible for ensuring effective product execution, transparent reporting, proactive risk management, and timely delivery of a functional MVP aligned with business objectives and user needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years’ product management experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech, edtech, or research technology.
- Proven experience delivering MVPs or complex digital products within tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, project management tools, UI/UX principles, and software development life cycles.
- Strong product documentation, analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate remote, cross-functional teams.
