Job Title: Supply Chain Assistant

• There is an opening for a smart and vibrant individual with deep knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics to serve as a Supply Chain Assistant in a leading Oil & Gas and Power Service Industry.

Core Responsibilities

• Keeping an up-to-date record of all supply chain transactions/reports via an ERP Software with daily inflow and outflow.
• Oversee delivered supplies, materials & equipment, confirm that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of qty, condition, model;/part no, etc.; complete all necessary paperwork for stock items received.
• Supply materials on time to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Conducting market surveys to get current market prices.
• Sourcing of materials needed for all operational needs.
• Purchase of items at best competitive prices without compromising quality
• Identify purchasing needs.
• Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices.
• Prepare cost analyses.
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in any Social Science related course with a minimum of Second Class Upper Degree
• 2 – 3 years working experience in a similar firm.
• Membership of ACISCM, ACIWM, ACILSCM will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other accounting software
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills
• Good bargaining skills
• Familiar with the Oil Industry Market and Mechanical Spares
• Demonstration of ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and hardworking
• Not more than 28 years of age at the time of this advertisement

Remuneration
N100,000 – N200,000 Monthly (based on qualifications and experience and subject to periodic performance-based review).

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Professional & disciplined management of the drilling personnel (as well as technical instruction of the personnel of service companies).
• Responsible for complying with the technical guidelines of the drilling contract, the tasks described in the BMS manual, company & job regulations as well as legal regulations.
• Responsible for maintaining the given drilling program by the client representatives.
• Regular instruction of assigned personnel.
• General responsibility for worker safety at the drilling location.
• Co-ordination of the tasks on the drilling rig.
• Overseeing stacked drilling equipment.
• Issuing of cementation, piping, drilling, and hourly reports.
• Updating of data sheets, and listing of extra tasks.
• Tasks & functions of the supervising personnel in the sour gas sections.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Field
• Have valid IADC / IWCF certifications.
• Have technical knowledge in drilling equipment and drilling processes for offshore operation
• Have a thorough knowledge of rig emergency signals and procedures
• Have a thorough knowledge of hand signals and safe working procedures for equipment handling
• Proficient in English (written & oral)

Job Description

The Company is focused on providing Oilfield services to the upstream sector.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions for drilling parameters (weight on bit, rotary table rpm, pressures, and pump outputs) as well as other work procedures (type and expected life of bit, mud characteristics, bore control, etc.), and ensure their correct application. Whenever deemed necessary, within the specified limits, change the drilling parameters to improve the drilling progress;
• Check and set up the equipment necessary for the assigned shift, i.e. drill pipes and other tubular material, x-over
• Operate the draw workduring drilling activities and complex maneuvers
• Assist rig down/rig up operations by coordinating and controlling
• Ensure that all reporting routines are followed and that all equipment-related paperwork is carried out within his area of responsibility. Specifically, he/she must
• Be safety conscious in all his/her work and use compulsory protective equipment
• Responsible for safe working conditions on the drill floor at all times
• Ensure that his subordinates use compulsory protective equipment
• Be familiar with all relevant work and safety procedures issued by the Company and Operator
• Apply and ensure the correct application of prescribed safety standards and regulations, and take part in emergency drills and safety meetings
• Issue Safe Job Analysis before start-up of non-routine operation or job and ensure completion of risk assessments where required
• Carry out BOP and pit level drill etc. in accordance with regulations laid down by Government Authorities or Operating Company
• Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained on the drill floor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering discipline with a minimum of Second Class Upper Degree.
• Minimum of 6 years experience as a Driller
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other engineering software
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills
• Demonstration of ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and hardworking
• Must have a valid IWCF Certificate.
