Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Nigeria

Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Manager.
  • The Product Manager will plan and execute product development and delivery, gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, and work closely with cross-functional teams to create and deliver outstanding products.
  • The Product Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and market demand.

Qualifications

  • The candidate must be able to perform product demos to customers and develop business relationships with key clients
  • The candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements from clients and be able to present the requirements in a standard format for developers
  • The candidate must have a strong background in financial systems as the candidate will be focusing more on financial solutions.
  • The candidate must be able work closely with the development team and quality assurance team to ensure the right customer problem is solved
  • The candidate is required to have the capability to present prototypes of the solution and collaborate closely with the departmental head to formulate the product vision and roadmap.
  • The candidate must be able to take the product live and provide adequate training for users of the product
  • The candidate must be able to set up support for products that are live in conjunction with the helpdesk team.
  • Must develop personas either alone or in conjunction with a team including user experience experts.
  • The candidates must be good at Developing product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Advocates on behalf of the customer for the development team.

  • As a Direct Sales Representative, you will be responsible for finding prospective customers and closing the sales.
  • You will also be responsible for writing sales reports and creating sales proposals.

  • Attend Training Sessions
  • Operate smartphones/tablets
  • Download and install PlayStore apps
  • Daily visits to shops/business premises of potential customers, to present company product

  • Completing regular sales reports specifying the number of sales made
  • Forwarding customer complaints/inquiries to Head Office.

Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site 6-month internship role at SoftAlliance in Lagos.
  • The Intern will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day tasks, supporting project teams, conducting research, and contributing to projects.
  • The Intern will work closely with senior staff members and will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the IT industry.

Qualifications

  • Must be a fresh graduate with a strong analytical mind
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The candidate must demonstrate a strong learning ability to work with a sense of ownership in product management.
  • The candidate must have a strong academic performance and relevant coursework in product management.
  • The candidate should possess the ability to work without requiring constant supervision.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present product concepts.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in the IT industry and knowledge of programming languages is a plus
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Must be available to work full-time on-site in Lagos.
