To be eligible for the Nigeria Higher Education Foundation Scholarship Program, each applicant must:

• must have a strong commitment to leadership, community service and philanthropy, as well as making a lasting impact on the world.
• must be the penultimate student from our partner universities, either 300-level students following a 4-year course or 400-level students following a 5-year course.

As part of the NHEF Scholars program, each scholar undergoes intensive training provided by a carefully selected group of international facilitators. Fellows then complete internships in our partner companies, which generally last 6 to 8 weeks. They also follow a robust curriculum that ensures continued personal and professional development.

How to Apply for Nigeria Higher Education Foundation Scholars Program:

• Log in to NHEF’s application portal.
• Sign up by creating an account on the portal: Enter your first and last name, your email address, your phone number and your password.
• After registration, verify your email address by checking the inbox of the email address you registered with.
• Click the link or copy the URL into your internet browser.
• Once your account is validated, log in with the email address and password you created.
• Access the application by clicking on the APPLY tab on the dashboard.
• Complete all biodata information and program essay questions on the application page.
• Applicants must be prepared to upload the following supporting documents: a one-page curriculum vitae (CV), a one-page cover letter and the most recent statement of achievement (all in PDF format).
• Review the application responses and submit them.

Note: We suggest that interested applicants already complete their answers to the application questions in a separate document, such as a Word document, so that it is easier to copy and paste their answers into the answer area of the application.
