What is it?
NLNG, wanting to help with education, is looking for smart Nigerian graduates to apply for a scholarship to study for a Master’s degree in the United Kingdom starting in September 2024. The scholarship aims to help smart people get the knowledge and skills they need to do well in their chosen fields and help Nigeria grow.
NLNG wants to make sure everyone has a chance to apply, including people with disabilities.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
- You must be a citizen of Nigeria and live there. After finishing your studies, you must be willing to come back to Nigeria.
- You must have finished your studies at a public university in Nigeria.
- You must have completed one year of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- You cannot have any other scholarships, bursaries, or grants from other organizations.
- You must have shown good grades and strong leadership skills.
- You must have a clear idea of how your studies will help your field and Nigeria.
- You cannot be the spouse, child, ward, or close relative of Nigeria LNG Limited staff.
Award Criteria:
To be considered for this award, you must meet the following conditions:
- Admission: You need to have provisional admission from the University of Wolverhampton for one of these programs: MSc Civil Engineering, MSc Computer Science, MSc Information Technology Management, LLM International Business Law, MSc Mechanical Engineering, or MPH Public Health.
- Education: You should have graduated with at least Second Class Honours (upper division) in a relevant field of study.
- NYSC Program: Completion of the NYSC program is required.
- Language Proficiency: You must have a minimum score of 8.0 in IELTS (with no less than 7.0 in each section), or a score of 102 in TOEFL, or a score of 73-79 in the Pearson Test of English Language (PTE).
- Age Limit: You should be no older than 30 years at the time of application. You need to provide a letter of identification from your Local Government Council.
- Employment Consent: If you are currently employed, you must provide a letter of consent from your employer.
- Passport: You must have an international passport valid for at least one year from September 2024.
- Visa: You should be able to obtain a UK Tier-4 student visa if you are successful.
- Bank Account: You need to have a domiciliary bank account (in GBP and USD) with either GT Bank or First Bank for use if you are successful.

2024 Post Primary Scholarship Award
Location: Nigeria
Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) wants to help students in primary schools. They’re offering a scholarship for students who are finishing Primary Six and want to go to secondary school in 2024.
They are looking for students who do well in school and want to help them continue their education.
NLNG wants everyone to have a chance, so even students with disabilities can apply.
Who Can Apply?
Requirements:
- You must come from one of the NLNG host communities in Rivers State.
- You must be in Basic Six and going to a public primary school in Rivers State.
- You should not have any other scholarship, bursary, or grant from another group.
- You must be under 12 years old.
- You cannot be related to any staff member of Nigeria LNG Limited.
Criteria for Getting the Award:
- You should be in Basic Six at a public primary school in Rivers State.
- You need to have a provisional admission from one of these NLNG partner schools:
- Hallel College (Boarding) Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt
- Archdeacon Brown Secondary School Woji, Port Harcourt
- Christie Toby Education Centre, Iriebe
To apply, you need to provide:
- Result sheets for Basic 4, Basic 5, and Basic 6.
- A letter from your school’s headmaster or headmistress, with their contact number.
- A confirmation letter from the CDC Chairman or Chief in your community to prove where you’re from.
- A letter of identification from your Local Government Council.
- A recent passport-sized photo without glasses, taken after January 2024.
- A birth certificate issued by the Nigeria Population Commission (NPC).

How to Apply for Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) Postgraduate & Post Primary Scholarship Award 2024
- Click the link above if you’re interested in applying.
- Choose “Education” from the drop-down menu under the “Social Performance” section.
- Find the “Post-Graduate Scholarship” image in the Related Links Section and click on it to open the application portal.
- Click on “Register Here” to make a profile, then use your username and password to start your application.
Here are the documents you need to include with your application:
- A recent passport photo without glasses (taken within the last 3 months).
- The main page of your international passport.
- Your First Degree certificate.
- Your NYSC Discharge certificate.
- A letter showing you’ve been provisionally admitted to the University of Wolverhampton.
- Your IELTS result.
- A letter from your Local Government Area (LGA) confirming your identification.
- A letter from your employer giving consent, if necessary.
Important Information
Make sure to give a correct email address. We’ll use it to update you on your application. You need to know how to use a computer for the 2024 award test. It will be done online with supervision. Only people who pass the first stage will get invited to take the online test. Check your email often for updates on your application. We won’t consider applications that:
- Are missing documents.
- Don’t meet the criteria we’ve advertised.
- Have fake documents. We’ll only reach out to applicants who make it to the next stage. There are other rules you need to follow too.
Important Information:
