We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Epe, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

  • Ensure that repairs are performed in a professional manner and in accordance with industry accepted good practice.
  • Accomplishes workshop team results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment.
  • Monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; following reporting procedures and systems. Facilitating corrections to malfunctions; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation amongst workshop team members.
  • Ensures production orders are fulfilled On-Time, In-Full, Right Product and Undamaged.
  • Liaise with Human Resources to conduct safety meetings with the workshop team.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Liaises with Operations Lead to develop operations and maintenance protocols; trains artisans and operators to set-up, run and maintain equipment for greatest efficiency
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repairservices
  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques. Subject to the approval of the Workshop Manager.
  • Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
  • Prepare,supervise and control team activities, including the scheduling of work for technicians.
  • Liaise with customers and diagnose customer concerns with equipment prior to being booked in forservice and/or repair
  • Assist all Technicians in the diagnosis of problems
  • Ensure that Technicians are using their time effectively and efficiently
  • Upon completion of normal repairs and/or service, inspect and test vehicle with the Technician who completed the job to ensure the vehicle has been repaired and/or serviced in accordance with the customer’s instructions and manufacturers guidelines
  • Ensure customers receive the best quality service by requiring that all jobs are completed correctly the first time.
  • Ensure all customer vehicle is presented back to the customer in a clean and presentable standard
  • Maintain inventory of all tools and equipment and check that all tools are available and maintained in the correct place and that all equipment is in suitable working condition
  • Control and set workshop behavioral standards and maintain staff morale
  • Advise all new and existing workshop staff member of policies and procedures and adherence to these policies and procedures
  • Set a regular workshop cleaning schedule highlighting employeesspecific duties
  • Make suggestionsto management for improvements on operational activities
  • Maintain a well trained workforce and supervise in-house training asrequired
  • Ensure the development and progress of all technicians
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager and/or management in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the coordinating overtime hours.
  • Follow housekeeping, safety and security procedures that result in a safe and attractive environment
  • Identifies and reports unsafe, unhealthy or hazardous working conditions.
  • Ensuresthe availability and use of personal protective equipment for technicians.
  • Prescribes work detail,specifications and proceduresto be adopted with regardsto the vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Assists with Interviews and recommends for employment suitable applicants for workshop roles
  • Maintainsinventories ofstocks, tools, workshop equipment and other supplies.
  • Givestechnical advice asrequired and preparestechnical reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 Monthly.

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Nigeria 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Designs, executes, and manages tests to collect statistically significant data to ensure technical specifications and product requirements are met
  • Responsible for mechanical part selection taking into consideration obsolescence, availability, design costs, mechanical products, and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
  • Evaluates and confirms mechanical systems and products by conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics.
  • Constructs prototypes, performs physical testing on engineering prototypes and confirms designs with the CEO
  • Choose and interface with vendors for low cost and high performance.
  • Conform with local, state, and company engineering standards.
  • Design and implement manufacturing and maintenance policies.
  • Using CAD and CAE software to design and oversee product blueprints.
  • Writing and documenting reports on Military equipment and engineering records.
  • Works closely with operations, manufacturing, and production engineers to ensure products are designed for manufacture.
  • Develops mechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing
  • manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; and soliciting observations from operators.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
  • Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and system capabilities, confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
  • Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations, industry and business standards.
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following the manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures; and requesting special services.
  • Maintains system and product database by writing computer programs and entering data.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable, and efficient.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars, and when required, generates minutes from design reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Office Administrator

  • Responsible for opening the office to the organization in the morning and closing the door at the end of the day.
  • Receive and welcome all guests to the office in a friendly and hearty way.
  • Ensure the front office reception is well organized.
  • Ensure that the cleaners and security guard do their jobs in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to other departments to ensure a smooth office operation.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the respective staff in a friendly way.
  • Answer incoming inquiries by phone and email with a friendly tone and the right attitude.
  • Issue passes and signs for visitors to the office.
  • Take minutes of meetings.
  • Maintain a system for recording the use of expenses and petty cash
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate destination i.e. meeting/board room or a particular office room
  • Discharge visitors who are leaving the office.
  • Coordinate and schedule travel meetings and appointments for senior officials.
  • Ensure regular cleaning of the office by the cleaners and proper maintenance of the work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff contact lists.
  • Photocopies and collates paper and mailings.
  • Ensure all office equipment is in good working order.
  • Update Fixed Asset Register.
  • Organizes stationery orders, and office supplies and ensures there is sufficient stock without overstocking.
  • Make necessary arrangements for the procurement of consumable water, beverages, coffees, etc.
  • Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Reconcile monthly utility statements.
  • Coordinate the duties of low-level employees.
  • Ensure proper liaison with the IT support service to ensure continuous management of the office.
  • Ensure timely announcement of staff members’ birthdays and other events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
