Job Title: Reservoir Engineer

Job Identification: 59
Location: Nigeria
Job Schedule: Full time

Accountabilities

Provides support within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure adequate reservoir management of the company’s assets.
Handle activities to optimize producing assets from a reservoir perspective leading to improved recovery, increase production and reserves addition.
Develop reservoir performance prediction and prepare estimates of in-place hydrocarbon volume.
Review surveillance, analysis, dynamic models and provide direction on subsurface engineering required for proper reservoir management of assets.
Supports/Updates company-wide standard reservoir management practices.
Quantifies risk and uncertainty to understand the impact on production forecasts and decisions
Supports reservoir and production due diligence on potential
farm-ins and acquisitions
Reviews year-end Asset reserves figure for regulatory authority’s endorsement.

Requirements

Minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Petroleum Engineering or other relevant Engineering Degree.
A master’s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.
A minimum of five(5) years of relevant experience in Reservoir Engineering and Engineering Operations in the oil industry with an operator.
Strong quantitative and analytic skills
Excellent carriage and representation of company with regulatory and government agencies.
Must be able to contribute to technical knowledge in form of technical paper presentations at conferences.
Ability to support/update company-wide standard reservoir management practices.

Job Title: Instrument Technologist

Job Identification: 86
Location: Nigeria
Job Schedule: Full-time

Accountabilities

Ensure Maintenance of all Advanced Process Control Systems within the facility.
Maintain and ensure optimal performance of Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
Control where necessary using available Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Management and implementation of Oil and gas flow-station facilities with minimum downtime.
Carry out FEED (Front-End Engineering and Design) for all instrumentation Projects.
Monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; and implementing corrective actions.
Supervision of produce waste-water treatment issues and processes for sustainable production.
Ensure Optimum Performance of all Custody transfer equipment (meters, pumps, tanks etc.).
Ensure Compliance of flow-station instruments and related facilities to DPR standards.
Review & implementation of P& ID for existing / new flow-station.
Designing and developing where necessary control systems for existing and new equipment.
Carry out Testing, maintenance and modification of existing systems where necessary.
Ensure all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with Sahara’s policies and procedures.
Ensure Compliance with the Instrument’s financial standards by providing annual budget information

Requirements

A Degree in Engineering or related course
A minimum of 10 years of cognate experience
Good understanding of industry and HSE practices applicable to the job role.
Practical knowledge and experience in maintenance of instrumentation equipment, control systems, etc.
Ability to interpret/mark up technical drawings
Good communication skills.
