BluNet Internet Solutions Limited is an ISP (internet service provider) company. Our products range from sales and installation of hardware devices such as CPE, Outdoor radio, fiber, to IOT(Smoke detector, water gauge, gas gauge, fire alarm, door sensors, etc). We also provide internet services to individual and corporate client, properties developer, malls, SMEs for both retail and enterprise.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Enterprise Account Manager (Fiber)

Location: Nigeria 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

• As an Enterprise Account Manager for our Fiber Network Operator (FNO), you will be responsible for managing and developing the sales channels for our estate’s fiber network services.
• You will be working with various stakeholders, such as Facility Managers, Estate Agents, Resellers (where applicable) and other partners to create and implement effective sales strategies that will increase revenue and expand the company’s customer base.
• You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that estate’s activation sales goals are met, and that our subscribers within assigned estates receive the necessary support to guarantee an enhanced experience.

Responsibilities

• Grow subscriber activation base within estates/businesses in Abuja, FCT or any other location as may be assigned
• Develop and implement enterprise sales plans and initiatives to achieve revenue targets by increasing subscriber activations ad acquisition of new estates/businesses
• Monitor competitor activity to identify potential threats and opportunities for our BluNet within assigned estates and/or marketplace in general.
• Foster communication with facility managers, estate agents, security men and other strategic partners, building and maintaining strong relationships to drive sales and business growth within assigned estates/businesses
• Manage estates/businesses performance (availability, revenue etc.) and provide regular performance reporting to management
• Oversee account profiles of assigned estates/businesses, ensuring that BluNet services meet the required standards, and that all contractual obligations are met.
• Train 3rd party partners and their staff (facility managers, estate agents, etc.) on BluNet products and services, pricing model etc
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide partners with the necessary awareness knowledge, marketing materials, and support to promote and sell our products and services
• Ensure estates/businesses are compliant with contractual and operational requirements, and that any issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings to maintain relationships and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

• HND or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
• Proven experience as a SME or Channel Manager or a similar role in the telecommunications industry
• Experience developing and implementing successful enterprise sales strategies in the telecommunications industry
• Experience with Splynx and Agility or other CRM software is a plus
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Computer literacy (MS Excel proficient)

Job Title: Field Technician – Fiber (FTTH, FTTB, FTTX)

Locations: Nigeria

Job Objective

• Install, commission, and maintain all active equipment including but not limited to access and core fiber routes for self-build and leased fiber. To be acknowledged as 3rd level technical competence relating to network fiber planning.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Grow subscriber activation base within estates/businesses in Lagos or any other location as may be assigned
• Install, configure and commission all head ends.
• Install fibre cables on access and core routes according to best practices and standards
• Commission fibre spans and end to end fibre circuits through use of OTDR and OLTS in BluNet acquired estates and/or 3rd party estates.
• Verify and capture as built documentation.
• Attend to fibre breakdown (troubleshooting & corrective) and preventative maintenance.
• Liaise with internal Operations, Enterprise account managers, Project Managers and 3rd party suppliers for the execution/deployment of designed plans.
• Assist with management & planning of overall fibre network, including auditing and record management.
• Assist other departments and lead and report on projects as requested by the Program Manager.
• Ensuring network design aligns with NetSuite or applicable software as appropriate.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings to maintain relationships and identify new opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Diploma (or equivalent work experience) in a technical field.
• Requires minimum of 3 year’s technical experience in telecom industry with at least 2 years in fibre installation and maintenance role.
• Knowledge of ducts, fibre, build methodologies, splice enclosures, patch panels, OSP and ISP.
• Quality assurance auditing & testing, manage and mitigate network risk register.
• Optical networking experience including OTDR, OLTS, fibre types, testing, splicing and installation
• Experience in Google Earth, QGIS and OSS systems
• Effective written and verbal communications skills evidenced by work history and accomplishments
• Excellent communications and soft skills, including ability to listen to and summarize and concisely share key information with clients
• Must use B/OSS tools effectively to record information accurately and concisely in a timely manner
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

Job Title: Junior Field Technician (FTTH, FTTB, FTTX)

Job Objective

• To assist in Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of all active equipment including but not limited to access and core fiber routes for self-build and leased fiber.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• 24/7 field assistance, on-call, out-of-hours and night/weekend / public holidays working as required * Proactive monitoring of equipment & facilities
• Assist in network installation, testing & commissioning, bringing into service integration
• Assist in installing fibre cables on access and core routes according to best practices and standards
• Assist to commission fibre spans and end-to-end fibre circuits through the use of OTDR and OLTS * Assist to verify and capture as built documentation
• Assist in attending to fibre breakdown and preventative maintenance
• Liaise with internal Project Managers and 3rd part suppliers for the execution of designed plans
• Assist with management & planning of the overall fibre network, including auditing and record management
• Assist other departments and lead and report on projects as requested
• Assist in ensuring network design aligns with systems as appropriate
• Drive company vehicles(where applicable)
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Maths & English school leavers certificate or equivalent
• Technical certifications I.e CCNA or equivalent field experience (desireable)
