Job Description

As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, tackling real-world challenges and developing solutions that impact millions. Focused on the future of collaboration, you’ll work on high-impact projects shaping the next chapter of Dropbox.

 

In our Virtual First work culture, you’ll connect with Dropboxers both virtually and in-person, building a strong professional network. We will accommodate your school schedule, culminating in a minimum of a 12-week internship.

 

Qualifications

  • Thrive in fast-paced, startup-like teams, building customer-facing products, with a curiosity that drives you to create side projects.
  • Prioritize data integrity and security through refined code and thorough testing.
  • Customer Experience (CX) – Enhance business through innovative technology.
  • Security Engineering – Collaborate with product teams to secure software, production infrastructure, websites, apps, and corporate infrastructure.
  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., physics or mathematics), graduating in 2025 or 2026.
  • Experience writing or shipping software through coursework, personal projects, internships, coding competitions, or research.
  • Passion for learning, problem-solving, and challenging the status quo.
  • Available for a full-time summer internship (40 hours per week / 12 weeks) in 2024.

Requirements
