A.A RANO Nigeria Limited and Accrete Exploration and Production Limited jointly formed Rano-Accrete Petroleum Development Company (RAPDC) Limited to operate the Oloye Field (PPL 245) formerly within Chevron operated OML 95. RAPDC is the operator for PPL-245 containing the shallow offshore Oloye field, offshore Delta State, Nigeria. With our expertise and experience, RAPDC is well equipped and resourced to manage the exploration, development, and production of hydrocarbons from the shallow offshore Oloye field thereby contributing to the growth and sustainability of the energy industry in Nigeria.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Well Engineer / Well Delivery Manager
Location: Nigeria
Department: Operations
Reports To: Subsurface Manager (or as directed by management)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare well design, well plans and operational procedures for construction, completion, intervention and/or abandonment of wells, as assigned.
- Develop, plan, cost and supervise well rig operations necessary for re-entry, drilling or well completion projects.
- Ensure that well-engineering and well delivery projects and activities are achieved within the budgeted time and cost.
- Ensure all well-engineering activities are in line with HSE policies and procedures, and drive HSE culture by setting example through safe work practices.
- Coordinate all required statutory maintenance of wellheads and well accessories.
- Communicate effectively with site/project stakeholders as needed and make recommendations to drive flawless service delivery and operational excellence as per approved plans.
- Monitor technical and operations KPIs and benchmark against offset well data and pre defined well objectives.
- Participate in the technical and commercial evaluations of all drilling/completion equipment procurement and associated services.
- Perform post job analyses of well operations for benchmarking, learning, identification, and implementation of appropriate new technologies.
- Liaise, communicate, and interface with relevant internal and external parties to ensure that the drilling operation is carried out as per approved plan.
- Plan, coordinate and perform on-site rig inspections.
- Develop detailed well construction risk register and maintain live throughout execution phase.
- Keep abreast of technological and engineering process advancements through affiliation with professional societies and participation in networks, workshops, seminars and training courses.
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
- 12 – 15 years of relevant work experience in well construction, completions, intervention and/or optimization.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent analytics and problem-solving, including ability to form hypotheses and move forward in the absence of complete information.
- Basic knowledge/exposure to specific applications: horizontal well drilling, multi-lateral wells, pad drilling, sand control technologies and artificial lift systems design and operation.
- High knowledge of rig equipment and its functionalities.
Other Requirements:
- Good knowledge of use of well modeling software to evaluate well design, production optimization and gas lift design.
- Excellent understanding of well operations and rig activities
- Good knowledge of oil and gas regulations and standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Geo-mechanics knowledge
- Ability to deliver continuous improvements in well design and operational performance
- Good knowledge of MS office suite, power BI or other analytical tools, well engineering and design software (for example: for hydraulics, torque and drag, basic casing design).

Job Title: Contract / Procurement Officer

Responsibilities
Contract:
- Prepare tenders and contract requirements for external parties – servicing companies, vendors etc.
- Source and select suitable vendors, prepare calls for tender, review bids received and assist in the determination and the award of contracts, including the administration of such contracts
- Support contracts award, ensuring compliance with Company’s policies and external regulations
- Draft appropriate contractual and commercial terms and conditions in line with Company’s approved procedure to best serve and protect the company’s interests
- Monitor the execution of contract/order by the contractor/supplier till the contract is closed out with full and final settlement to the contractor/supplier
- Execute vendor prequalification, develop, and maintain a database of prequalified vendors for related goods and/or services as directed by company rules.
- Collate and compile all tender documentation after receipt of approval
- Liaise with various stakeholders including legal, insurance finance, health safety and environment and technical units as required.
- Provide regular reports and updates on contractual activities as required by management
- Perform regular supplier performance evaluation exercises to promote continuous improvement in service delivery
- Provide general assistance and advice on contractual and procurement matters as required to support the company’s operations
- Actively participate and promote company health and safety procedures and policies for all contracted suppliers
- Monitor the overall financial and physical progress of awarded contracts
- Develop and maintain operational budget including project costs, investments, commercial bids
- Implement processes for reviewing contracts, supplies and vendors ensuring that maximum value for money benefits are achieved
Procurement:
- Estimate and establish cost parameter and budget for purchase
- Create and maintain good relationship with vendors/suppliers
- Maintain records of purchasing, pricing, and other important data
- Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
- Facilitate and monitor all local and international procurements, from order to deliver
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Possess professional qualification in Procurement, Surveying or other relevant profession.
- 5 years of proven experience in contract/ procurement management with relevant oil and gas industry experience
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and relationship management skills
- High level of computer literacy, including experience in using specialist procurement software and computer system
- Experience in business development
- Excellent interpersonal skills including strong communication both orally and written with the ability to build relationships, network, and negotiate
- Ability to refine raw data into quality information to support business decisions.
- Deep knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and the general public
- Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential business information
- Possess competency with contract preparation, negotiation, tendering, and award procedures
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task in a fast-growing company
- Excellent organizational and planning skills to set and exceed established goals, schedules, and deadlines
- Ability to engage with people and work in a diverse team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Use advanced numerical simulation techniques to forecast oil and gas production and recovery from both new and existing fields
- Collaborate with other team members in devising economically viable development plans for oil and gas reservoirs.
- Develop and execute data-gathering plans and using the results to develop projects to increase recovery efficiency
- Define reservoir design bases for projects and develop or update Field Depletion Plans (FDPs).
- Develop, maintain, and monitor reservoir management strategies; surveillance and data acquisition planning, contact movement e.tc.
- Support development and prioritization of reservoir development activities involving drilling and projects as well as other activities such as data integration for improved subsurface characterization and depletion planning; workover and drill-well evaluations; volumes forecasting; economics and reserves assessments.
- Provide reservoir engineering support to the company’s technical/operational activities.
- Ensure sound and prudent reservoir management practices in line with local and international oil field standards
- Provide reservoir engineering support during drilling, completion, work over and through-tubing operations.
- Carry out regular reservoir and wells production performance studies with a view to recommending optimum reservoir management strategies for enhanced productivity.
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- B.Eng / BSc Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from a reputable institution
- A Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 10 years’ reservoir engineering experience in operating companies
- Strong reservoir simulation and planning skills using Petrel, Eclipse and Navigator
- Proficient/basic understanding of the use of geological modeling software, e.g Petrel.
- Professional expertise in the use of Material Balance, well test analysis and decline analysis
- Professional expertise in reserves estimation and classifications to meet SEC, PRMS and NNS standards.
Other Requirements:
- Professional Engineering qualification. – B.Sc / B.Eng / B.Tech; M.Sc / M Eng is an added bonus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Extensive reservoir engineering knowledge and demonstrated ability to support reservoir development, management, and optimization.
- Ability to provide Reservoir engineering technical support for reservoir characterization and field studies, performance forecasting, opportunity generation and evaluation, reservoir surveillance, production optimization, and depletion planning.
- Good technical understanding of reservoir performance prediction using both analytical and simulation tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with fluid characterization, hydraulics, material balance, reservoir simulation, economics assessment, and proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite)
- Ability to use computer simulations effectively to help identify drilling risks.

Administration:

- Supervise inventory of office supplies and order new materials as needed.
- Ensure the effective distribution of essential office supplies to units and departments as required.

Key Requirements
