Job Title: Project Information Management Lead III

Location: Nigeria

Job Nature: Standard

Main Function

  • The Project Information Management (PIM) Lead is accountable for planning and execution for all aspects of Project Information Management (PIM) within the project.
  • The PIM Lead also provides Leadership that guides the Project Team and FEED/Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractors to ensure compliance with Contracts and Company Project Information Management standards across all project Phases (front end engineering design (FEED), EPC, Turnover, and Handover).
  • The PIM Lead works to ensure requirements are planned, delivered, and communicated across all project life-cycle phases, through to Handover to Operations and stewards Company Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) (UDOCS) and Roll-Out Project Information Management expectations.

Task and Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain the Information Management Plan, and supporting procedures, templates and guidelines
  • Interface with Project Information Management Advisor and stake holders to ensure Company Expectations are met including overall strategy, staffing plan and resources to support the plan (e.g. roles and responsibilities, activities, training, related specifications and procedures, check lists, databases, central files, user guides, etc.)
  • Champion and coordinate Company Project Information Management standards
  • Assure Project Information is timely controlled, accessible and current at all project locations
  • Review standard contracting, procurement and project management documents and procedures to ensure they include clear communication of Information Management and Document Control standards and requirements
  • Ensure Project Team EDMS is effectively utilized to support project execution, Commissioning, Start-Up and Operations
  • Ensure Master Document Register (MDR), Supplier Master Document Register (SMDR), and Document Distribution Matrix (DDM) requirements are implemented and maintained
  • Coordinate Information Technology (IT) issues associated with establishing the Project Information Management System and related IT databases and tools
  • Maintain Information Management processes including performance measurements, reporting and assessment of Contractors IM (Information Management) /DFO and determine gaps/recommendations
  • Until the Project Documents For Operations (DFO) Coordinator position is staffed, provide DFO planning and act as the primary contact point for document turnover from the contractor to the Project Team (PT) and handover to operations
  • Bring to the attention of the Project Team management any issues that could potentially impact final documentation quality, cost or schedule
  • Perform internal audits within the Project Team and external audits of Contractor and Sub-Contractor teams, and ensure resolution of issues raised
  • Drives and promotes capital efficiency on stewarded projects.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree required
  • Experience working in areas of technical administrative support and document management, including working experience with IT systems and tools
  • Experience working in project technical information management assignments
  • Expert level proficiency in Project Information Management skill area within Oil and Gas Industry
  • Skill and experience in supervision and training of Information Management / Document Control personnel in an Oil and Gas industry project team
  • Understanding of information and documentation needs and uses in operating oil and gas facilities
  • Experience in a Production, Refining or Chemicals operations technical support organization is desirable
  • High skill in written communications including proven ability to create procedures, guides and training
  • Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills.

Job Title: Smart Room Maintenance Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist technical/engineering advice and guidance to site personnel on the operation and maintenance of plant/equipment ensuring highest safety standards, a timely response to queries and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage day to day maintenance activities within the Akpo Smart Room, ensuring adequate liaison to support the sites current and forthcoming activities.
  • Provide site maintenance personnel with direct technical support including WO Backlogs review, and daily WO technical validation (WTA WO status removal) on SAP (Unisup).
  • Provide work direction and technical guidance, checking work/project progress, identifying resources, setting priorities and time schedules.
  • Ensure planned maintenance look ahead is reviewed and prepared, balance available resources on- site with forthcoming monthly PM activity.
  • Anchor monthly Preventive Maintenance review process.
  • Review monthly maintenance report, create and maintain action plan to keep on track of performance.
  • Main Interface for site Head of Maintenance to assist with critical activities.
  • Provide initial breakdown support and guidance to site team during fault finding, repair methodology, vendor requirements and
  • materials availability.
  • Review status of offline plant and equipment and ensure its availability and that standby equipment is serviceable.
  • Track, report and prevent maintenance related missing achievable production.
  • Manage backlog of maintenance activities.
  • Make recommendations on preferred contractors and coordinate vendors, materials and equipment for planned and unplanned
  • activities, monitoring and controlling manpower usage, vendor/contractor performance and expenditure. Participate, as
  • appropriate in vendor/contractor audits.
  • Identify work (in conjunction with maintenance planner) that can be liquidated in campaign type approach when critical equipment is taken offline.
  • Advise on shutdown reports from a maintenance perspective to ensure appropriate actions are added and completed.
  • Develop and maintain highly effective and productive relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Liaise with Tier 2 and Discipline managers for technical and contractual support.
  • Proactively monitor, review and analyze plant and equipment performance using Smart Signal diagnostic tool and provide
  • feedback to Line Management, identifying opportunities to maximize equipment performance, and by extension production performance.
  • Continuously provide insights into condition asset health monitoring by collecting all vital/important performance data and also contextualizing asset failure data in order to generate potential failure predictions that can improve production and plant availability.
  • Continuously optimize failure thresholds of running equipment from the connected and collected data records in the SMART
  • Room dashboards and keeping the real-time monitoring as close and tuned to running site conditions.
  • Responsible for the follow-up and reporting of all safety critical elements performance on site and release of the weekly Safety
  • Outlook and Inhibitions report, as well as weekly summary slides for the FOPS Performance meeting.
  • Together with the SMART Room Production engineer, alternate the issuance of weekly GHG Emissions performance report and Energy Efficiency performance report for the asset.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies for the maintenance, inspection and operation of plant/equipment to ensure that all plant and equipment meets verification and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with site personnel through effective communication and by making regular.

Accountabilities:

  • Improve reliability of maintenance equipment.
  • Failure reports and investigation.
  • Engineering documentation/technical support.
  • Equipment availability – accountable for the turbo machine running plan implementation and its strict follow up, liaising with the mechanical/rotating department.

Requirements

  • First degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Other engineering disciplines would also be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance of oil and gas process facilities / equipment, including rotating
  • equipment, lifting equipment, instrumentation and electrical equipment.
  • Good knowledge of operational site activities
  • Good knowledge of onshore/offshore process and production systems
  • Experience of working in an offshore environment
  • Experience of a collaborative working environment will be an advantage
  • Must be very analytical with ability to propose innovative and workable alternatives or solutions
  • Strong communication and interface management skills to work efficiently in transverse mode.
  • Must have strong reliability centered attitude to maintenance follow up.

Job Title: Fixed Equipment Strategy Specialist II

Job Description

  • The prime objective for the Fixed Equipment Strategy Specialist is to coordinate and facilitate fixed equipment strategy development for the site.

  • Provide technical support on program execution – pressure equipment coating, vessels inspection, tanks inspection & calibration, PSV risk based inspection etc.
  • Update/optimize equipment strategies based upon incidents, equipment history and inspection data analysis
  • Steward equipment strategy implementation versus plan to the business team
  • Provide support for metallurgical analysis of failures and assistance in materials related Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
  • Recommend material selection for major equipment replacement/upgrades
  • Support unit inspectors in analyzing operating, maintenance and non-destructive testing data to establish remaining life of equipment and recommend repairs and/or replacement to extend equipment remaining life
  • Participate in the Materials Integrity – Fixed Equipment (MI-FE) community of practitioners (CoP) network as a network member for collaboration and global learnings sharing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Adroit in technical writing and business communications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.

Job Title: Partners’ Accountant

Description

  • Reconciliation of Partners’ Current Accounts between Budget Department and the books (SAP)
  • Accounting for Cash Calls paid by Partners into the JV Accounts/Books (SAP)

  • Preparation of reports to show the status of Inter JV sales POs that are still open awaiting debit notes posting.
  • Liaising with Stock Controllers to process fully approved Inter JV sales debit notes while ensuring funds settlement.
  • Interface with Stock Control for proper planning and implementation of the Rotational and Annual Inventory exercises
  • Review the cutback process from a cost trial balance (CTB) and general trial balance (GTB) perspective to determine accuracy and completeness of Partners’ share in line with contractual agreements, and investigation of issues arising therefrom.
  • Review the analysis of related general accounts balances (Partners’ accounts, finance manual accrual accounts etc.), and investigation of issues arising therefrom.
  • Liaising with Tax and JV Budget Departments in computing the proper NDDC liability and following up on the liquidation thereof.
  • Carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the hierarchy.

Job Requirements

  • BSc/HND with professional qualification, minimum of 6 years Post-Graduation experience (with a minimum of 4 years Professional Accounting practice in an Oil and Gas Upstream company or a reputable audit firm).
  • Including a good understanding of Oil and Gas Joint Operating Agreements is required.
  • Good organizational, analytical and Inter-personal skills.
