Job Title: Legal Manager

Job Overview

  • The Legal Manager will play a crucial role in our legal team, overseeing the review and drafting of commercial contracts, including but not limited to SLAs with banks, switches, micro-finance banks, OFIs, etc.
  • The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the banking or fin-tech industry, particularly in reviewing and drafting commercial contracts.
  • This is a fully on-site job in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law. A Master’s degree in Business & Commercial Law and other relevant certifications will be advantageous.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience, with at least 3 years in a legal managerial role in the banking and fin-tech industry, particularly in reviewing and drafting commercial contracts.
  • Core experience in reviewing and drafting SLAs with banks, switches, micro-finance banks, OFIs, etc.
  • Strong understanding of commercial, corporate, and financial laws.
  • Core experience in corporate governance practices.
  • Sound knowledge of commercial, corporate, and financial laws.
  • Excellence in negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic approach to risk assessment and management.
  • Proficiency in legal research and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing Palmpay’s cloud and on-premise network infrastructure as well as troubleshooting cloud systems and partner’s network.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex application network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of the network.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute channel network migrations, upgrades and expansions.

Responsibilities
Cloud and On-prem Network Infrastructure Design and Troubleshooting:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust channel/application network infrastructure to support organizational needs.
  • Conduct regular application/channel network assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
  • Maintain detailed documentation of Channel network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Cloud Systems Design and Operations (AWS Resources):

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services.
  • Manage and monitor AWS resources, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support for cloud migration projects, ensuring a smooth transition to or from AWS.

DevOps Tools/Operations and Proxy Configurations with Nginx:

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Configure and optimize Nginx as a reverse/tcp-ip proxy, load balancer, and web server.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

Kubernetes Deployment and Maintenance:

  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters to support containerized applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Implement best practices for Kubernetes security, resource management, and disaster recovery.

Requirements

  • B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of Java
  • Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation.

Technical Skills:

  • Containerization tools – Kubernetes & Docker
  • CI/CD – Jenkins & Gitlab Cloud – AWS, Ali cloud (good to have)
  • Monitoring – Grafana, Zabix, Prometheus
  • Networking – Fortigate, Cisco & Mikrotic
  • TCP-IP/Reverse Proxy configuration – Nginx.

Job Title: Software Tester (POS)

About the Role

  • As an Intermediate QA Engineer specializing in POS testing, you will play a crucial role in validating the functionality, performance, and security of our Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve issues, ensure compliance with industry standards, and deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for POS systems.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of POS applications and hardware.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing objectives.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Execute and monitor tests on various POS terminals, including card and cardless transactions.
  • Verify compliance with industry standards such as ISO8583, EMV, and PCI DSS.
  • Review and validate transaction data, including card data, PIN blocks, and other critical fields.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to POS and payment systems.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of POS transactions, including card and cardless payments, and industry standards such as ISO8583.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., JMeter, Selenium).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g.Java) for test automation and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of EMV, PCI DSS, and security best practices for payment systems.
  • Experience with POS terminal hardware and software testing.
