Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • To achieve cost-effective utilisation of ITHorizons’ financial resources, through the definition of financial standards, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Engages Executive Management and the appropriate Board Committee to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections.
  • Develops and utilises financial models and activity-based financial analysis to provide a basis for investment decisions and business planning.
  • Manages key banking relationships to facilitate proper, timely and cost-effective funding of business operations.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficient financial management.
  • Monitor third-party payments to ensure justification and alignment with approved budgets.
  • Prepare and communicate timely, accurate, and useful financial and management reports.
  • Raise funds as approved by the Board of Directors.
  • Implement a sound accounting framework in compliance with statutory provisions.
  • Develop and implement a robust financial reporting system.
  • Ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting.
  • Approve accruals and adjustments on erroneous financial transactions.
  • Liaise with statutory auditors to resolve queries.
  • Develop and manage relationships with external bodies.
  • Respond to requests from financial institutions.
  • Approve payroll along with Head, P&C.
  • Advise executive management on financial regulations, legislation, and government tariffs.
  • Manage treasury assets to achieve optimal sourcing, application, and growth of funds.
  • Provide technical training and guidance on financial accounting issues and trends.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and lead the Finance Department.
  • Manage staff performance in the Finance Department.
  • Review weekly financial reports and present timely reports to the CFO.
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial reports and statutory reporting process.
  • Oversee the preparation of regular financial and management accounts.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the CFO.

Job Title: Finance Officer (ICAN)

Job Description

  • To provide support in bookkeeping, capturing of accounting transactions, bank reconciliation and reporting on financial transactions.
  • Prepares records for remittance of statutory deductions such as: Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Capital Gain Tax and staff related statutory payments i.e. PAYE, Pension, NHF, etc.

Job Duties

  • Updates account payable and receivable ledgers for all purchases, including payments to vendors for products or services.
  • Receives invoice and requisition for goods and services and also process payments accordingly.
  • Prepares and update prepayments, accruals and provisions schedules and ledger.
  • Prepares weekly report for payment transactions.
  • Prepares periodic or monthly reconciliation of all accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Relates effectively with the organisation’s financial service providers.
  • Documents and update records of all fixed assets to ensure assets are properly valued, accounted for and safeguarded.
  • Reviews records for remittance of staff related statutory payments i.e. PAYE, Pension, NHF, etc.
  • Prepares monthly account and compute appropriate taxes; VAT and WHT schedules.
  • Processes expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
  • Assists in the generation of financial reports as required by management.
  • Handles all aspects of assigned bookkeeping activities such as journals and nominal ledger administration by updating the accounting application with transactions as they occur.
  • Implements accounting controls in day-to-day performance of tasks (e.g. confirm the accuracy of general ledger codes on the accounting system).
  • Documents and updates records of all assets to ensure proper valuation and security.
  • Collates and consolidates financial information from all business units and prepares trial balances.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Accountant.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 – 6 years experience.

Job Title: Senior Network Engineer (Networks/Collaborations)

Location: Nigeria 

Job Description

  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
  • Oversee and execute planned network maintenance activity while minimizing impact to services.
  • Provide technical leadership on operational and project related work.
  • Design and implement plans to introduce new technology into the voice, video and enterprise networks while minimizing network outages and ensuring a seamless end-user experience.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of service results and respond to any escalated service delivery issues in a timely manner.
  • Design solutions and create implementation and support models for technology encompassing a specific specialization or platform.
  • Configure, install, support, and troubleshoot voice, video, and enterprise network equipment
  • Work effectively with other IS teams and outsourcing provider(s) to ensure technology solutions are effectively managed and performed
  • Review reports to ensure all services are completely and successfully delivered.
  • Proactively intervene to correct problems when they are encountered. Use metrics to improve processes.
  • Assist in the development of enterprisenetwork operations processes, procedures and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal service deliveryin the customer environment.
  • Establishing the customer environment by designing system configurations, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing industry standards
  • Analyzing existing enterprise network infrastructure to proffer solutions for optimal performance of customer network infrastructure
  • Developing architecture plans for enterprise network solutions and deployments.

Certifications

  • Must have CCNP enterprise certification
  • Minimum of 4 years experience
  • Skills required
  • Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols. Protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, RIPv2, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, IPSec, BGP, HSRP, GLBP, VRRP, VSS, VPc
