Responsibilities

  • Oversee all activities on the factory floor, ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Lead and manage factory workers, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage the movement of raw materials and finished products, ensuring timely delivery and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure regular maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and maintain production efficiency.
  • Monitor product quality at various stages of production and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the production process and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Education: HND or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in sourcing raw materials and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring reliable supply chains.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions, focusing on cost savings and quality.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, reducing waste and minimising costs.
