Job Title: Settlement, Dispute Resolution & Reconciliation Analyst

Location: Nigeria

Job description

  • Process daily settlements, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Analyze transaction data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Research and investigate customer disputes, gathering necessary information and providing timely resolutions.
  • Maintain clear and concise records of all settlements, disputes, and reconciliations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline settlements, dispute resolution, and reconciliation functions.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams (e.g., Risk Management, Customer Support) to ensure efficient resolution of complex issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a settlement, dispute resolution, or reconciliation role within the financial services industry (fintech or banking experience a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
