Job Title: Website Hosting and Monitoring Specialist

Location: Nigeria

• We are seeking an experienced Website Hosting and Monitoring Specialist with expertise in Cloudflare, Umbraco CMS, SendGrid, and Google Analytics. This role will be responsible for managing our website’s hosting, security, performance monitoring, and data reporting to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

1). Website Hosting and Security Management

• Manage fully dedicated, secure hosting environments with integration of SSL certificates, CDN (Content Delivery Network) via Cloudflare, and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Ensure DDoS protection and redundancy with locally-redundant instances, and maintain a daily backup system with a 28-day retention policy.
• Maintain a 99.95% service level agreement (SLA) for uptime and high availability.
• Oversee Cloudflare configurations for optimal performance and security.

2. Content Management and Support

• Work extensively with Umbraco CMS for content updates, plugin installations, bug fixes, and CMS maintenance.
• Provide support for CMS-related issues, implement approved design updates, and ensure compatibility with Umbraco’s latest versions.
• Coordinate updates and customization of website templates in Umbraco as needed.

3. Email and Communications Management

• Set up, manage, and troubleshoot email communications through SendGrid to ensure reliable delivery of marketing and transactional emails.
• Optimize SendGrid settings for enhanced email security, engagement tracking, and deliverability.

4. Data Monitoring and Analytics

• Use Google Analytics to monitor website traffic, user engagement, and behavior patterns, generating insights to drive improvements.
• Perform routine data analysis and create monthly performance reports on core metrics, including user acquisition, top-performing pages, and conversion tracking.
• Provide recommendations based on analytics insights to improve website performance and user experience.

5. Performance and Security Monitoring

• Conduct continuous uptime, availability, and vulnerability monitoring.
• Analyse security logs, conduct vulnerability assessments, and address potential threats proactively.
• Generate regular insights reports, documenting core metrics, security events, and any system performance anomalies.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in website hosting and monitoring, with a strong background in security best practices.
• Proven experience with Cloudflare (CDN, WAF, DDoS protection), Umbraco CMS, SendGrid, and Google Analytics.
• Solid understanding of website performance optimization and traffic analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in generating actionable insights from data.
• Familiarity with CMS maintenance, support, and plugin management.

Education & Certification
