Job Title: Skilled HVAC Technician

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Contract

Main Function

  • We are seeking a Skilled HVAC Technician to ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems on offshore platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, compressors, and ventilation units.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust HVAC systems to maintain temperature, humidity, and air quality standards.
  • Respond promptly to HVAC system malfunctions and provide technical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of HVAC maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Certification in HVAC Systems or Refrigeration.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, preferably offshore.

Certifications:

  • HVAC Technician certification.
  • Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
  • FPSO experience is a MUST.
  • International experience in Nigeria, Africais a plus

Job Title: Rope Access Technician – Level 3

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description
Main Functions:

  • Supervise and manage all rope access operations on offshore facilities (e.g., FPSO, drilling rigs) to ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Lead and oversee rope access activities for high-risk operations, including inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installations in hard-to-reach areas such as structural components, pipelines, and equipment.
  • Develop work plans and risk assessments for rope access activities, ensuring that all potential hazards are identified and mitigated before commencing work.
  • Conduct rope access system inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards. Responsible for certifying the safety of rope access systems used by technicians.
  • Provide leadership and training for RAT Level 1 and Level 2 technicians, ensuring their compliance with safety procedures and operational standards.
  • Lead rescue operations in case of emergencies, ensuring that rope access rescue techniques are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all safety measures, such as fall protection and emergency response procedures, are in place and followed during rope access tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of rope access activities, including inspections, maintenance logs, safety checks, and personnel performance.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, production, and safety, to ensure the smooth execution of rope access tasks and optimize workflow.

Education and Experience

  • Candidates should possess an HND / OND or B.Eng qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years as RAT Level 3 with demonstrated expertise in rope access tasks in offshore environments.
  • 7+ years of total rope access experience, including supervision of teams, safety compliance, and complex operations in offshore or industrial environments.

Skills and Qualifications:
Rope Access Expertise:

  • Mastery of advanced rope access techniques, including rigging, rescues, and specialized installations.
  • Ability to perform complex tasks that require rope access, such as equipment installation, structural inspections, and maintenance work at height or in confined spaces.

Leadership and Supervisory Skills:

  • Strong experience leading and supervising a rope access team.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of junior technicians (RAT Level 1 and 2).

Risk Assessment and Safety Compliance:

  • Expertise in conducting risk assessments for rope access tasks and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage emergency response plans and ensure readiness for rescue operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in identifying and resolving mechanical and technical issues in offshore systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges during rope access operations.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating between teams, reporting progress, and escalating issues.
  • Capable of creating and reviewing technical reports, job plans, and safety documentation.

Physical Fitness and Health:

  • Excellent physical fitness for performing demanding rope access tasks in challenging offshore conditions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in extreme environments, including confined spaces and at significant heights.
  • IRATA Level 3 certification (or equivalent) for rope access technicians.
  • Offshore safety certification (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
  • Medical Certificate for offshore work (fitness to work in confined spaces and at heights).
  • Additional certifications such as first aid, rescue operations, and risk assessment are preferred.

Job Title: Operations and Maintenance (O & M) Support Budget Planner

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain detailed budgets for operations and maintenance (O&M) activities on offshore platforms.
  • Create and define O&M goals and objectives.
  • Analyze each phase of O&M to determine budgets.
  • Track costs and ensure implementation stays within predicted estimates.
  • Estimate the project timeline and ensure teams adhere to delivery dates.
  • Manage human and capital resources to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure the O&M has adequate staff to complete each stage on schedule.
  • Identify and evaluate risks that may derail project delivery and provide solutions to prevent them.
  • Provide reports on deviations from the original project plan that could lead to serious delays and budget overruns.
  • Prepare and present internal and external project reports for stakeholders.
  • Provide comprehensive project data to teams to help them work more effectively.
  • Identify and communicate changes in the project plan to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams and other stakeholders on short- and long-term plans for resource allocation and work scheduling.
  • Assist the maintenance/operations manager to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Document and maintain records on project scheduling processes.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ cognate experience in an offshore/oil and gas facility
  • Certifications in PMP, Oracle, financial planning, or related fields are is required
  • Experience with project/opretios planning software andcost estimation is a must.

Job Title: Senior Valve Technician

Responsibilities

  • Record maintenance information, including test results, material usage, and repairs made.
  • Disassemble and repair mechanical control devices or valves, such as regulators, thermostats, or hydrants, using power tools, hand tools, and cutting torches.
  • Lubricate wearing surfaces of mechanical parts, using oils or other lubricants.
  • Calibrate instrumentation, such as meters, gauges, and regulators, for pressure, temperature, flow, and level.
  • Install, inspect, and test electric meters, relays, and power sources to detect causes of malfunctions and inaccuracies, using hand tools and testing equipment.
  • Test valves and regulators for leaks and accurate temperature and pressure settings, using precision testing equipment.
  • Record meter readings and installation data on meter cards, work orders, or field service orders, or enter data into hand-held computers.
  • Shut off service and notify repair crews when major repairs are required, such as the replacement of underground pipes or wiring.
  • Install regulators and related equipment such as gas meters, odorization units, and gas pressure telemetering equipment.
  • The Valve Technician will be responsible for disassembly, repair, new assembly, calibration, modification, and diagnostics of all brands of control valves and instruments.
  • Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, etc.
  • Other job-related responsibilities

Requirements

  • Applicants should possess relevant qualifications in Engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum requirement is 5 years.
  • FPSO/Oil rig experience is a must.
  • International experience in Nigeria, Africa is a plus

Job Title: Compression and Mechanical Specialist

Location: Offshore, Warri – Delta
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate directly with gas clients to identify project needs, develop project scoping documents, and support project execution.
  • Lead the design and engineering of compression systems, ensuring they meet a wide range of performance requirements and comply with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Preparation and review of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, heat and material balances, P&I Diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, HAZOP Studies & reports, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, etc.
  • Prepare and review specifications and data sheets for compressors, control systems, and related equipment.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations for new and retrofit compression projects.
  • Participate in compressor, Engine and gas turbine startup, performance testing and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams for existing compression systems.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and implement corrective actions to optimize system efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement preventive measures.
  • Review of Client documents, specifications, datasheets, verification of FEED design & calculations
  • Prepare and review instrument data sheets and specifications (control valves, PSV’s, meters, etc.)
  • Participate in planning, cost control and scheduling for assigned projects.
  • Develop and review TIC estimates.
  • Develop economic analysis (maintenance and energy cost) for equipment selection.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with project team members and clients, with a commitment to building enduring relationships leading to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Review of vendor’s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications, and calculations
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors to develop project scope and execute detailed engineering.
  • Coordinate with torsional and acoustic analysis companies to ensure design is mechanically sound and components are properly selected.

Qualification / Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Compression or or a related field.
  • 10 years of proven experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Offshore/FPSO experience is required

  • Report any unsafe working conditions, equipment issues, or incidents to the RAT Level 3 or supervisory personnel.

Qualifications
Rope Access Skills:

  • Proficient in rigging rope access systems, including anchoring, rope installation, and other techniques necessary for safe work at height.
  • Ability to use rope access to perform tasks such as painting, maintenance, inspections, or installing equipment.

Mechanical Skills (Optional):

  • Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.

Safety Awareness:

  • In-depth understanding of offshore safety procedures, risk assessments, and emergency response protocols.
  • Familiar with offshore rescue techniques, and able to assist in rescue operations if needed.

Physical Fitness:

  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, at height, and in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Fitness and health standards are required for working offshore and handling rope access equipment.

Documentation and Reporting Skills

  • Capable of maintaining accurate records of tasks completed, inspections performed, and equipment used.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding the status of tasks.
  • IRATA Level 2 certification (or equivalent) for rope access technicians.
  • Offshore safety certification (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
  • Medical Certificate for offshore work (e.g., fitness to work in confined spaces and at heights).
  • 5 years of experience as a Rope Access Technician Level 1 or 2, preferably in offshore or industrial environments.

  • Changes hydraulic components of aerial platforms, digger, derricks, cranes, and power operated equipment

  • Check mechanical systems on a routine basis for problems or abnormalities
  • To set up, adjust, install, dismantle, and repair various plant equipment, primarily mechanical service equipment and motors in the facility
  • Tests equipment to check operation, tests equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime
  • Makes preventive maintenance equipment check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action
  • Examines defects and analyzes causes and, where possible, takes corrective action
  • Performs varied mechanical duties such as dismantling, moving, cleaning, repairing and installing facility equipment
  • Uses hoists, rollers or trolleys to move machinery
  • May handle equipment installation projects from start to finish, including initiating contact with vendors to review equipment problems and determine proper repairs or improvements to equipment and interacting with other departments such as Engineering and Purchasing to complete the project.

Qualifications / Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15 years of proven experience in Mechanical engineering, with significant experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Offshore/FPSO experience is required
  • Certifications:
    • Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
    • Certification in mechanical systems maintenance is an advantage.
