Bran TV is a new TV station focused on showing trailblazer programs for children.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Producer

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Come up with new concepts and ideas.
  • Find and hire suitable directors for each project.
  • Secure financing for projects.
  • Acquire the rights to relevant books, media, songs, footage, or plays when necessary.
  • Work with the legal department to discuss copyright provisions and other issues.
  • Craft budget and manage project timelines.
  • Edit scripts where required and meet with consultants to ensure quality content is produced.
  • Meet with the director on a regular basis to discuss characters and scenes.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that develop during the production process.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 1 – 5 years work experience.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 / month.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, verify and analyze thoroughly newsworthy information
  • Assemble findings into a stable story
  • Write and deliver news stories with the reader’s perspective in mind
  • Publish or broadcast news stories
  • Receive assignments or investigate news leads/tips
  • Abide by journalism’s ethics and codes
  • Contact, interview and research sources
  • Maintain notes and audio recordings
  • Cooperate with reporters, chief editor, producers etc
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest current events in the “beat” by studying papers, attending events etc.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 1 – 5 years work experience.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 / month.
