Recruitment of Medical Officers at the Federal Capital Territory Civil Service Commission (FCT-CSC)
The Federal Capital Territory Civil Service Commission (FCT-CSC) oversees the recruitment, promotion, and discipline of civil servants in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Established by an Act in 2018 and officially inaugurated in March 2024 by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, the commission is chaired by Engr. Emeka Ezeh.
Applications are hereby invited from qualified Medical Officers for enrollment in the Residency Training Programme under the Federal Capital Territory Administration Hospital Management Board in the following specialties:
Job Title: Medical Officer
- Internal Medicine
- Pediatrics
- Anaesthesiology
- Ophthalmology
- Family Medicine
- Psychiatry
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- General Surgery
Location: Abuja
Tenure: Fixed term of seven (7) years
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Possession of an NYSC certificate or an exemption certificate where applicable.
- Successful completion of the Primary Examination of the National Postgraduate Medical College or the West African College of Surgeons/Physicians in Internal Medicine.
